Munger University was founded in 2018 and is located in Munger, Bihar. It consists of 17 constituent colleges, 12 associated colleges, 5 single faculty education colleges (Affiliated BEd Colleges), and one affiliated law school. It has been registered with the UGC and the AIU under section 22. The institution is now based on the Munger campus of RD & DJ College, which spans 25 acres of land. Munger University offers both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It also offers few vocational courses.
