Commonly asked questions
On All Courses
Q:   Is the M.Tech CSE syllabus same for all Indian colleges?
A:

The clear answer is no. The syllabus for MTech in Computer Science Engineering varies from one college to another. Every college abides by a certain coursework guideline decided by the college committee at the beginning of the academic year. Generally speaking, the syllabus includes some core subjects, elective subject choices, laboratory classes, and project work.

Though the subjects might vary, the basic concepts taught in the classes are almost similar, covering all the fundamental knowledge and advanced-level CSE concepts that give you a comprehensive understanding of the field.

Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

Additional options:

·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

Q:   Does the M.Tech CSE syllabus focus more on theory or practical application?
A:

The M.Tech CSE syllabus lays emphasis on both the theoretical aspect and the practical understanding of important CSE concepts. In the first year you'll be exposed to the foundational knowledge needed to excel at the workplace while the second year focuses more on the practical side of things like research projects and informative seminars. All in all, it would be a fun ride for you if you have the right attitude and passion towards the CSE field.

Q:   Can you elaborate on the BSc Design career?
A:

Sure, the BSc Design career scope is vast, with diverse career paths based on the specialisation you choose to study. It will offer you not just the theoretical knowledge but also help you gain creative and technical skills. You can even go for freelance opportunities once you gain relevant skills and experience in the industry.

Infrastructure and faculty members are good, but placements are not really good.
Placements: Less than 20% were placed, with the highest package being 1.8 LPA and the lowest I don’t know. Only Patra India came for all courses. Less than 10% do internship. The dream is for a developed career, but instead, I am forced to work as a call center executive. Placements are the worst. If you just want a degree without a job, you can join this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is the best in Bhilai, with premium labs equipped with Intel i3 11th Gen CPUs. There is Wi-Fi, but it doesn't work, and the lift in our building is broken. Classrooms are quite good, and the library is very big. We get every book from the library, and I haven't purchased any books during my graduation.
Faculty: Teachers are good and well-educated. They are helpful by nature, and every faculty member has completed undergraduate and postgraduate studies. The course curriculum is too old and does not meet the recent demands of the industry. Semester exams are moderate, and more than 70% of students pass.

If you are not from Chhattisgarh, don't take admission; it is not that much worth it.
Placements: They say there are 100% placements but it totally depends on the skills you have to clear the interview. Google, Samsung, Honda, Lava, HCL, etc. are the top recruitment companies. Assistant engineer, backend developer, frontend developer, etc. are the top roles offered. The highest package is around 20 lacs, and the average package is 5 lacs.
Infrastructure: Every daily need for facilities is available in the hostel and, in particular, in every department. Food quality is good, medical facilities like first aid are available, and a sports field is available on campus. Infrastructure is good and it looks green; there are canteens and mess.
Faculty: Some teachers are excellent; they do extra hard work for students and are always available to help them. Yes, it makes the students industry-ready. The exam level is easy to moderate, not that difficult. If you are an average student, you can easily pass the exam.
Other: Firstly, the only reason I chose this college is because it is an autonomous college, which is beneficial for us in every opportunity to grow. At this college, they hold events. This type of thing happens every month. My last review is that if you are not from Chhattisgarh, don't take admission because it is not that much worth it if you come from another state. This is an average college with good facilities and a few fests.

SSPU a perfect college for management.
Placements: The placement opportunities are good in our college; we get decent internship opportunities. The average package offered was four LPA. People who have passed out from our course get good posts in good companies and create good startups. They have good managing skills.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good. We have air-conditioned classrooms, Wi-Fi connectivity available in our classrooms, and a very good auditorium. There are many good opportunities for sports and games. Overall, one can have a decent college life, and the library is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-qualified; they are very helpful. The semester exams meet the proper difficulty level. The curriculum is so relevant that one can be ready for managing skills and can be industry-ready. It definitely makes the student industry-ready.
Other: BBA is a very good course if one wants to be good in managing skills in real life. The college life is very good in our college, many fests occur frequently in which big singers and actors are invited.

They provide a good opportunity for placements. I researched for college, I saw last year's placemen
Placements: 70% placement is offered in computer science. The average package is 3.5 LPA, and the highest is 11 to 14 LPA. Companies which are recruiting are mainly IBM, Cognizant, Wipro, TCS, etc. But internship placements are very low. Top courses are CS, marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and libraries are good, but the hostel is not very good. Medical facilities are also good in sports and games. It is good for new students. Routers are also available. Transportation facilities are also good. The college offers good services and study modes.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and provide support, but they cannot prepare for industry-only focusing in the semester. Exams and exam cells take paper only on festival days. I hope this review is good for new students. Subject available for seats.

You can have fun only if have nice friend group here.
Placements: Placement companies do visit our campus. I don't know much about placements as I did not have any interaction with my super seniors but I know that good placements are offered in our campus, TCS and many more. In BCA you get placement offers for web development post/job.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great. We have nice computer labs, classrooms and library. Canteen is okay and food is not bad. There is not much facilities in hostel. You have to bring everything of your need you cannot expect that with hostel and yes outing time is only till 6 pm after that you have to take permission from your parents.
Faculty: We have nice faculty. In BCA I have nice faculty but only for students who are into studies. It is your choice for attending lectures or not. Only few faculty or should say 1-2 faculty is there to teach you everything from roots. But if you are IP or CS students it's gonna be easy for you to understand everything.
Other: I chose BCA because I am from commerce background but I want to go in IT sector. You'll learn web development in BCA. I wish there were more options like machines learning or AI or ethical hacking. There is crowd in the campus but till now (I am 3rd sem student) I haven't seen any big fest in the campus. And about scholarship. Yes there is availability of scholarship but not for general category.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure in my college is very good. The college environment is also good. In my college, facility in my college hostel, canteen, medical, sports, and games are also good. In my mess, every day change the food, according to veg and non-veg. Also every day, non-veg and veg also making in my mess.
Faculty: Teachers are very strict and good. Exams are very tough. In the semester exams in my college, the past percentage is not good. Everyone has scored good. In the scores curriculum relevant to any mixture students industry. It is very good industry in my college.
Other: In my college event, first campus, crowd, connectivity, campus surrounding, and scholarships are very good and mostly every month every new fest comes.
