B.Tech can not be completed in one year. The minimum three years are required for the completion of B.Tech courses for Diploma Engineering holders. Diploma engineers are eligible to get admission in 2nd year through the lateral entry admission. Further Delhi Institute of Professional Studies (DIPS)

Hi,
If you have discontinued your BTech then you will be able to take admission in B.com or BSc only on the basis of your XIIth score.
Your one year of BTech will not be counted
The last qualification counted for admission level should be of a pass degree.
