Review of Government Polytechnic College, Meenangadi.
Placements: About 25% of the students are placed in our course. There are no packages, this is a government college, and no other expenses as seen in other private colleges. There are no recruiting companies in our college, especially in our course. There don't offer any roles in the college.
Infrastructure: There are some facilities in the college, there are mainly 4 courses CE, EEE, EE and ME. First-year students study almost the same except for one course-oriented subject like surveying in civil engineering. In the first year, everyone gets lab training in chemistry, and physics labs, and for me, we used something related to our course. There is no Wi-Fi in the college. There is a hostel for girls in the college. Teachers did not support sports or arts. They are only for just teaching.
Faculty: We have some sincere teachers and some duty-only teachers. Some of them are helpful. Some of them are qualified and some of them are daily wages teaching staff. Some teachers are rich in their knowledge and teaching capability but not completely. The curriculum is not so relevant, I think it is outdated. Semester exams are pretty okay. The pass percentage is above average.
Other: As I didn't get any degree allotment I choose a study that is free of cost. The best thing about our course is just going to study and get a job, don't think about the campus life seen in the cinema. I wish to improve our course to make students better by taking them to activities other than studies. There are not many events in the college and no fests. The campus surrounding is peaceful and it is not so good for extracurricular activities.
