There's a good balance between academics and extracurriculars.
Tips: There are a few things I think students should know before they join. First, the academics are rigorous and well-structured. However, there’s a lot of self-discipline needed to keep up. Second, get ready for early clinical experience. I think it’s great, and it’s a big plus, but don’t forget to enjoy it, as well. Facilities can vary a lot depending on what department you’re in. There’s a big jump from, say, IT to the dorms. So, I definitely think it’s good to talk with some of the current students first, especially if there’s something that seems questionable to you. The hostel life here can be fun, but I think students should manage their expectations. It can also be basic depending on what department you’re in. And last but not least, I don’t think there’s enough attention paid to the networking opportunities. The extracurriculars here really shape your experience, so don’t forget about them.
Likes (Student Life): Student life here is quite engaging and lively. There's a good balance between academics and extracurriculars. The environment is generally positive, and there's a sense of community among students. However, there's still scope to expand the variety and frequency of student activities.
Dislikes (Safety): There were poorly lit areas around campus and the city that lacked proper surveillance. Although the campus does have security, response time for incidents can be slow. There were thefts and disturbances, making me less safe when I moved around after dark.

TU Munich is one of the most research-focused organisation in Europe.
Tips: The workload can be intense, especially for international students who may be relocating. Adjusting to different teaching methods, exam formats, and implementing effective time management strategies are essential, as completing exams on time can be challenging.
