Technical University of Munich admission criteria is selective and a lot of factors are involved in determining the admission decision. Some of the most imporant criteria are academic qualifications, letters of recommendations, and motivation letter. In the LOR, a candidate must describe subjects, unique achievements, contributions, their achievement and ranks. Also, the letter of motivation must include the applicants academic background, projects, internships, etc.

3) Why that particular of choice
4) Future plans of the candidate
Applicants must remember that there is no best answer to these questions. Hence, they must be honest and logical.
In order to secure an admission, all the international students must fulfill the TUM Germany eligibility criteria listed below:
Bachelor’s degree: Candidates must have completed their secondary school education outside of Germany with something other than a German Abitur
Master’s degree: An undergraduate degree which is at least equal to a German bachelor's degree with a duration of 3 years
Given below are the general TU Munich entry requirements for international applicants:
- Higher education entrance qualification;
- Proof of English language proficiency;
- Proof of German language proficiency;
- Passport;
- CV/Resume;
- Letter of Motivation, Essay (wherever required);
- Proof of internships, volunteer work, etc. (wherever required);
- Proof of military service, voluntary civilian service, voluntary ecological year, etc. (wherever required); and
- Bachelor’s certificate and bachelor’s Diploma (for master’s programs).

As per the ratio of admissions to applications, the Technical University of Munich acceptance rate stands at merely 8%.
