Q:   What should I carry to the exam centre when taking Dassault Systemes Professional level certification exam?
A: 

On your Dassault Systèmes Professional level certification exam day, do not forget to bring an official ID, such as a driver's license or passport. The exam will take place in a dedicated room with video cameras or an exam proctor monitor to prevent cheating. You cannot bring any items into the exam room, including pencils, pens, paper, cell phones, or other devices. 

Before starting the exam, you must agree to a confidentiality agreement by clicking an "I agree" button. After completing the exam, your score will be displayed on the screen. If you pass, your electronic certificate will be automatically generated and saved in your account for you to download.

Q:   Will I earn a certification upon completing a course from Dassault Systmes?
A: 

Yes, Dassault Systèmes' online courses offer certification upon successful completion. Below are the types -

  • Electronic certificate - After passing an exam, you will receive an electronic certificate, reflected in your account. The certificate has a unique identifier and QR code that you can use to authenticate your certification online. It comes with a 1 month access to CLS (Companion Learning Space).

  • Digital badge - You may also receive a digital badge to share on social media. Digital badges are portable, verifiable, and unique.

  • Label - You may also receive a label that you can use to promote your certification.

Q:   What is the Retake Policy of Certifications offered by Dassault Systemes?
A: 

Associate Certification Retake Policy

  • Number of Attempts: Candidates are allowed two attempts to pass the Associate certification exam.

  • Waiting Period: There is a minimum cooling-off period of 14 days between each attempt. If you do not pass the exam on your first try, you must wait at least 14 days before you can retake it.

Professional Certification Retake Policy

  • Minimum Practice Requirement: To become certified as a 3DEXPERIENCE Function Driven Generative Designer, candidates must engage in at least three months of regular practice with the relevant software to have adequate hands-on experience before attempting the exam.

Please note: No Retake After Passing. Once you successfully pass the exam, you cannot retake it. This policy encourages candidates to prepare thoroughly before attempting the exam.
