ISTQB® Add-On Practical Tester by A4Q

A4Q Certified Selenium 4 Tester Foundation v3.0

• Exam Format: Remote-proctored online exam in English, focused on Selenium 4 automation with Java or Python.

IREB® Requirements Engineering – Foundation Level (CPRE-FL)

• Exam & Languages: Take the exam online (remote proctor) or at a test center. Available in English, German, Dutch, Spanish, French, Swedish, and Brazilian Portuguese.
• Core Content: Learn how to distinguish a system from its context, gather and document requirements, test them, manage changes, and use tool support.

IREB® RE@Agile Primer (CPRE-AP)

Digital Design Professional – Foundation Level (DDP FL)

• Exam & Languages: Remote-proctored online exam in English and German.
• Core Content: Teaches “outside-the-box” thinking for digital products—covering technology scouting, partner selection, impact forecasting, and spotting new business opportunities.
• Preparation Options: Complete a short (2-day) accredited training or self-study the version 2.0 curriculum; then take the FLEX exam online.
• Prerequisites: Hands-on experience in UI design, software architecture, or requirements engineering.

Software Architecture

iSAQB® Software Architecture – Foundation Level (CPSA-F)

• Exam & Delivery: You can take the exam online with remote proctoring or at a test center.
• Core Topics: Learn the architect’s role; how to gather and document architecture requirements; design components, interfaces, and dependencies; handle cross-cutting concerns; and communicate your designs.
• Preparation: Enroll in an accredited CPSA-F course or study the official syllabus independently. Test the free online mock exam before taking the actual test.
• Prerequisites: At least 18 months of hands-on software development experience, basic modelling/UML skills, and basic knowledge of technical documentation.
• Certification Benefits: Earn an internationally recognized credential, master key architecture methods and tools, and qualify for the iSAQB® Advanced Level certification.

iSAQB® Software Architecture – Advanced Level (CPSA-A)

• Exam & Delivery: Complete a written assignment (take-home style) in English or German after training.
• Prerequisites: Hold the CPSA-F certification, have at least three years of IT experience (including designing two different systems), and complete 70 credit points of approved advanced-level training across methodological, technical, and communication skills.
• Curriculum Focus: Methodological Competence, Technical Competence, Communicative Competence, Stakeholder Management.
• Preparation: Attend recognized iSAQB® Advanced Level modules; each module builds one of the three competence areas.

Software Development

A4Q Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) – Foundation Level

• Exam & Languages: Remote-proctored online exam, offered in English and German.
• Core Content: Covers key testing skills for developers, including static testing, review processes, static analysis, white-box and black-box test techniques, and more.
• Preparation Options: No mandatory course; you can self-study the official syllabus or attend an accredited A4Q TF4D/SDET training for hands-on guidance.
• Prerequisites: None. It is open to anyone, though basic development experience helps.

ASQF® Secure Software Engineering – Foundation Level (SSE-FL)

• Exam & Languages: Remote-proctored online exam, available in English and German.
• Core Content: Covers security across the software lifecycle: basics of secure engineering, threat analysis, security requirements, secure design/architecture, security testing, and secure processes.
• Preparation Options: Study on your own using the official SSE-FL syllabus or join an accredited ASQF training course.

UXQB® Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience – Foundation (CPUX-F)

• Exam & Languages: Available as a test-center or remote-proctored exam in English and German.
• Core Content: Covers the human-centred design process, key definitions and guidelines, specifying context of use and user requirements, creating design solutions, and conducting usability tests, inspections, and surveys.
• Preparation Options: Study using the official CPUX-F syllabus, take free online mock exams, or join a training course from a recognized UXQB provider.
• Prerequisites: No formal prerequisites; hands-on experience in usability or UX is helpful but not required.
