upGrad courses: Types of programmes

Depending on the skill and academic level, you can go for upGrad courses in the following categories:

1. Advanced Certificate Programmes - A bachelor’s degree is required. 
2. Professional Certificate Programmes - A bachelor’s degree and one year of work experience are the minimum requirements. 
3. Executive Post-Graduate Programmes - A bachelor’s degree is required. For some programmes, 50% aggregate marks at graduation are required. 
4. Certificate Programmes - A bachelor’s or diploma degree after the 12th standard is required. For some of the upGrad courses under this programme type, a student has to go through a screening process held by the respective university the platform has collaborated with. 
5. Bachelor’s degree - A student must have 55% marks in Class 12. 
6. Master’s degree - A student must have at least 50% aggregate marks in a relevant bachelor’s degree. 
7. MBA (Global) - To pursue an MBA (Global) course from upGrad, one is required to have 50% marks and at least 2 - 3 years of work experience in a related field. 
8. Post Graduate Diploma - A bachelor’s degree with no minimum marks is required. 
9. Global Professional Certificate - For most of the upGrad courses under this type of programme, there is no minimum requirement. 

After completion of the upGrad courses, the certificates are provided by the respective universities.
