My overall experience at JGU.
Placements: I get great career opportunities here. This is because of our Office of Career Services. It has ties with major companies. The team helped my classmates and me get internships. Some of the companies include WWF, Ernst & Young, and the Centre for Science and Environment. My seniors got jobs with AECOM. They also got jobs with Re Sustainability, Wildlife Conservation Society India, and Grant Thornton. This gave me confidence about my future. We get opportunities to apply what we learn in class. It also helps us understand real-world environmental issues.
Infrastructure: Facilities available at our school were amazing. I spent most of my time in JSES labs carrying out biological and chemical experiments using real water testing kits to test pH and dissolved oxygen content. There was an amazing GIS lab where I was able to learn how to operate QGIS and Studio software packages. Outside labs, there was the Global Library that contained all the books, journals, and e-books one might need for research. The classes had modern facilities, and I also liked my hostel campus.
Other: I chose the B.Sc. (Hons) Environment & Sustainable Development course because the topics covered actually relate to one another. I completed my first year studying fundamental courses such as Climate Change and Policy, Planetary Boundaries, and Ecological Perspectives. My 2nd and 3rd years were practical. I studied courses like waste management, environmental impact assessment, & corporate environmental responsibility.

Choosing this course is my best academic decision.
Placements: Looking at the placement statistics of our senior class of 2025, I am totally sure about my career. I find that some of my seniors have landed amazing jobs at various places such as Alwar Gallery, Brut India, and The Sprint, which tells me how flexible our course is. Moreover, I get the opportunity to intern at the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA). I feel that this exposure will lead me to various paths in gallery management and curation, along with digital media.
Infrastructure: Most of my day is spent using facilities on campus, which really does feel like heaven for any developing artist. I have access to large and well-lit art studios that have all the equipment and supplies required for our practical assignments. I often go to the huge library of university, where they have plenty of books related to art, catalogues of exhibitions, and various online databases as well. I am glad that everything on the campus is air-conditioned and has Wi-Fi too.
Faculty: I picked the Bachelor of Fine Arts Honors program at JSLH because I want a program that teaches me more than just painting or sculpture. I think the curriculum is great because it mixes actual studio work with visual studies and art history. I love that it is flexible enough for me to take regular liberal arts classes alongside my art modules. I can easily connect my creative work to history, philosophy, and sociology, which gives my projects a lot more depth and meaning.

The experience that changed my life.
Placements: It was comforting to know that Career Services office played a vital role in preparing me for the world beyond college. From what I had observed, many seniors were securing wonderful opportunities in think tanks, NGOs, media houses, and corporate firms. I knew that organizations such as IPCS, APPRO, INDICA, and several others recruited candidates from our college. Therefore, I believed that the combination of industrial contacts and internship experiences would put me way ahead of others.
Infrastructure: Life and education at this university truly felt like living and learning in our very own global village. I spent a lot of time at the Global Library, reading books and journals from all around the world. The classes were also really great, as they were well-equipped with technology, and the daily classes were quite engaging rather than boring. When I was looking for an escape from studies, I normally visited the sports centre or used the wellness centre.
Faculty: I was privileged enough to be taught by some of the most prominent professors in the world. They held their qualifications from renowned institutions across India and the world. I was inspired by their varied educational backgrounds, as they offered us knowledge gained from actual global research. These professors were accessible after hours for advice and mentoring. I felt comfortable approaching them regarding anything ranging from politics to research papers.

A place that nurtures talent.
Placements: The Office of Career Services at our college did quite well in terms of linking students with the creative world. The compulsory internship period after my second year enabled me to work with the prestigious Kiran Nadar Museum of Art (KNMA). Students graduating from my program secured great jobs, such as Curator of Art or Graphic Designer. Knowing that my seniors were able to acquire good jobs in prestigious agencies like Alwar Gallery made me feel quite confident about my post-graduation opportunities.
Infrastructure: Jindal's infrastructure facilities ranked among the best in the world. As a Fine Arts student, I found that facilities were wonderful. The design studios and art laboratories were large, bright, and had all the equipment required for sculpting, painting, and digital artistry. There was full air conditioning throughout the campus, together with fast Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, the huge library was full of rare art journals and books that became like my second home.
Faculty: Teachers I had at JSLH were like mentors to me. I loved learning from professors like Susanta Mandal. They were all great artists who brought real gallery experience right into our classrooms. Because our Fine Arts classes were so small, I always received personal feedback on my portfolio. My professors spent hours helping me fix mistakes and try out new art styles. They were always available after class and really cared about my development.

Very satisfied and grateful that I chose this college and course.
Placements: The placement of my school at JGU is very good. The alumni land up in good top news channels. Companies are extremely well-settled with good packages. University has good connections with many top organizations. They also have a very understanding placement team. For internships, they send students into the field for practical exposure.
Infrastructure: Facilities are top-notch. The campus is clean and has everything a student needs. It includes a huge library, good classrooms, a large gym, and well-maintained hostels. The hostels have centralized AC, comfortable beds, and a pantry on each floor, which is the best part. The hostels also have good security for both male and female students.
Faculty: Faculty is amazing, and each lecture is very well structured. Professors of JSJC are knowledgeable and talented. The exams are designed for students at university level. They are based only on what is taught in lectures. Faculty in my school is very diverse and supportive of all students.
Other: The best thing about my course and the reason I chose this college is its experienced faculty. It is good that accessible facilities are available on campus.

A place that supports every dream.
Placements: The office of career services is what really makes this place work. They don't just wait for recruiters. They stay busy prepping us with mock interviews and group discussions to make us industry-ready. Jindal has partnerships with EY, KPMG, ACCA, and NISM to provide professional certification and training to B.Com students. It's a relief knowing the university actually cares about where we head after graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is basically a mini city designed for high performance. I spend a lot of time at the Naveen Jindal Sports Academy. The tennis courts are a great way to blow off some steam. Food-wise, the Biswamil Bistro is my go-to. It has spots like Nirula's and Moti Mahal right here, which means I never get bored with the mess food (it is actually quite hygienic). Whether it's the 24x7 health center or the laundry service, the infrastructure is so good that I can focus entirely on my studies.
Faculty: Professors here are just awesome. Many have actually worked in the markets they teach about. I've spent so much time talking to my mentors about real-world business problems outside of class. They don't just read from slides, but they challenge us to think like analysts. Whether it's a quick doubt or a deep career question, the faculty is always accessible. It feels more like having a professional mentor than a traditional teacher.
