On Fees and Eligibility
Q:   Is BBA at Institute of Management a good choice?
A:
{Source: BBA students & alumni}

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary:

Infrastructure: The Institute of Management has a good infrastructure, with modern classrooms, libraries, and sports facilities. Hostel facilities are available for PG students, but not for BBA students.

Teaching: Faculty members are generally helpful and knowledgeable, with a mix of traditional and innovative teaching approaches. Some students appreciated the emphasis on practical learning, while others found the curriculum lacking in certain areas.

Placement: While the placement record for BBA students is not explicitly stated, the institute claims to have 100% placement rates for MBA students. The average salary package for MBA students is around INR12 LPA, with the highest package reaching INR30 LPA.

Curriculum: The BBA programme seems to offer a balanced blend of theoretical and practical knowledge, with courses covering various aspects of management. However, some students felt that the curriculum could be more focused on emerging trends and technologies.

Campus Life: The campus is lively, with frequent events and fests organized throughout the year. Students appreciate the social atmosphere and extracurricular activities.

In conclusion, while the BBA programme at Institute of Management has its strengths, such as a good infrastructure and supportive faculty, there are areas for improvement, including the placement record and curriculum relevance. Ultimately, whether or not the programme is "good" depends on individual preferences and priorities.
Q:   What is the cut off for MBA at Nirma Institute of Management?
A:

MBA of Management Nirma University  accepts CAT percentile for admission nto the MBA course. Candidates preparing for this institute must appear for the CAT 2023 entrance exam. The exam is schedule for Nov 26, 2023. Nirma Institute of Management cutoff 2023 will be released after the CAT 2023 result. However, during the Institute of Management cutoff 2022, the overall CAT percentile was 60 for the General All India category candidates.

Candidates can refer to the table given below to check out the year-wise cutoff percentile for the MBA programme:

Category20212022
General6060
SC6060
ST6060
OBC6060
Q:   What is the minimum eligibility criteria to apply for MBA programme at IMNU Ahmedabad?
A:

Candidates who wish to apply for MBA programme must have passed bachelor’s degree with at least 50 per cent aggregate.

Q:   What is the difference between CAT score and CAT percentile?
A:

CAT score is the total marks a candidate receives out of the maximum marks, calculated by subtracting the marks of incorrect answers from the marks of correct answers. For every correct answer, +3 is given to the candidates, for every incorrect -1 is deducted from the overall score. Apart from this, a candidate's rank is calculated by normalizing the scores of all candidates and placing them on a common scale based on the difficulty and attempts of the candidates. It is important to understand the difference between CAT score and CAT percentile because IIMs and all MBA colleges in India select candidates on the basis of their CAT and other MBA related exam percentiles and not score.

The CAT percentile is referred to as the rank of a candidate against the rest of the test takers. The percentile indicates the total percentage of candidates who scored less than or equal to a particular candidate in CAT.

Suppose,1,000 people take an exam and you bag the top rank, which means 999 candidates scored less than you. Then your CAT percentile will be 999/1000*100 = 99.9.

Q:   What are the PG courses offered in IMNU Ahmedabad?
A:

The institute offers three different management programmes at PG level which are MBA (General), MBA (HRM) and MBA (Family Business and Entrepreneurship).

Wonderful life at IMNU.
Placements: IMNU provides a 100% placement for its students. The highest package offered is 70 LPA, including international offers. The average package is 11.22 LPA and the median package is 10.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Morgan Stanley, Hero, BNY Mellon, Bank of America, Capgemini, Adani Wilmar, and many more. 100% of students got offered internships from our college in companies like Amul, Sodexo, Smytten, Arihant Capital, IMS, Times of India, and many other companies.
Infrastructure: High-speed Wi-Fi is available around the campus. The classrooms are very huge with great facilities like projectors, speakers, etc. Vending machines are also available near our BBA classrooms for us. We have a library named NIMA, which is very huge and spacious, with a lot of books and studying area. Hostel facilities are only there for female students in BBA. The hostel is very nice and clean. There are various hostels, H1, H2, H3, etc. NU follows a strictly vegetarian food policy. The quality of food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. We are also assigned a faculty mentor who helps us in any situation and guides us. The quality of teaching is very nice. The curriculum is relevant in a way. We can easily apply our learnings in our real-life business world. The curriculum focuses on research very much. The pass percentage is not something we are made aware of. But anyone who studies well can easily pass the subjects. Only you need to listen to the faculty properly in the class and revise those subjects later.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a financial management consultant. It teaches me the best of things, because today, we have subjects from all fields, so I know about IT, law, healthcare, etc., fields. I am ready to consult anyone on anything. I think that giving a major in BBA only can guide the students well and they can focus more on their liking. The campus offers regular and vibrant fests like Genesis, Aarohan, etc. There are various clubs and committees that the students can join. The scholarship is also given on the merit and merit cum means basis. IMNU respects and nurtures its students.

The college has good infrastructure and faculty members.
Placements: Around 70% of students have been placed. An average package goes around 10.5 LPA, which is good in terms of ROI (Return on Investment). Mostly the companies come for sales roles and many banks go for the BFSI sector. Internships are provided in different sectors for different domains.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for the MBA course are good enough. Wi-Fi is provided within the institute and also neat and clean. Classrooms and library are great, one big 5-floor library for all the departments and grounds for sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and available for in-person meetings during office hours. The curriculum is based on a trimester system, providing students with ample knowledge and experience to become industry-ready through assignments, projects, and exams. The passing percentage is 40%.

Good infrastructure but bad faculties.
Placements: The college provides 100% placement, and the average placement is around 12 LPA. The lowest package is about 7 LPA, and the highest is 70 LPA. The institute, however, does not provide placement for the undergraduate program (BBA). Companies like Morgan Stanley, Searce, JP Morgan, and Axis Bank offer placements.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure as a new building has just finished construction. The mess is also very good. The faculties are not that good, and most of them have little knowledge of the subject. There are two sports grounds, one for football and one for cricket. A sports complex is also under construction.
Faculty: The teachers are fine; some are good, while others are not. The curriculum includes internships every year, so a serious student can gain proper industry exposure. However, the courses are very cumbersome and irrelevant at times, and you get very little practical knowledge. The difficulty of the exams is very low.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to do an MBA. This course offers an exit option after three years if you can get into a better college. The only thing I would like to change is the attendance policy of the college. Other than that, it's fine. There are various committees that organize events all year round, so there's no shortage of that.

Satisfied with the college and would definitely recommend joining.
Placements: Almost 95% of students were placed in the previous batch, the highest package being 70 Lacs and the lowest being 7 Lacs p.a. Top recruiting companies are JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, ITC, Arcesium, Crisil, and much more. The same set of companies came for internship along tier two companies.
Infrastructure: Great hostel and college infrastructure. Being a female, the girls hostel is like a five star hotel with attached washrooms and a balcony with AC, the rooms are triple sharing and double sharing occupancy. The food at the mess is above average and they give us a variety of items every day. College infrastructure is said to be one of the finest in Gujarat.
Faculty: The faculty at IMNU is very helpful and approachable and is very well qualified. They're very experienced in their areas and bring a mix of theory and practical aspects to the table. The course is prepared in such a way that it integrates all the study areas and helps in holistic development. The pass percentage is around 70% as the semester exams are very difficult to score.

Review of IMBA at the Institute of Management Nirma University.
Placements: As of the year 2023-24, the placement rate was 100%, with the average package being 10-11 LPA and the highest package at 70 LPA. The top recruiters include Morgan Stanley, Searce, Accenture, and JP Morgan. The college provides assistance for both placements and internships.
Infrastructure: The college offers various facilities such as well-equipped classrooms, Wi-Fi, a library with e-library facilities, hostel accommodations, and mess facilities. Medical facilities are also available on campus. Additionally, there is a running track, cricket ground, badminton court, tennis court, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as a gym.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified with decent experience in their fields. The course curriculum is relevant, and the teaching pattern includes a mix of theoretical and practical approaches. There is a semester exam system in the BBA phase and a trimester system in the MBA phase, with continuous evaluation exams.

Infrastructure and facilities are good, with aesthetic looks.
Placements: Most of the students got placed in my course. The highest salary package was around 16 LPA, and the average salary package was approximately 9 LPA. Apart from that, top companies also come here for recruitment, such as Aditya Birla, Adani Group, Nestlé, and many other companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good here, and facilities are also good. However, there are no air-conditioners in the classrooms for BBA students. Classrooms are good, and library is also well-maintained. Food in mess and canteen is quite good. There are also good facilities for sports and games, especially for outdoor sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is above average. Many subjects are not that relevant, but there are also good subjects. Semester exams are of a good level and not that easy. Pass percentage for semester exams is 40%.
