IIM Kozhikode has concluded the summer placements of the batch 2024 with good internship opportunities. The highest stipend offered stood at INR 7 lakh per month, whereas the average stipend offered stood at INR 2.68 lakh per month. The highest package offered during IIM Kozhikode PGP placement 2025 was 81 LPA. The highest package offered to PGP BL students in 2025 was 36.45 LPA. The highest package was offered to a student from Finance domain. 

It is a great institute with excellent placement records. IIM Kozhikode concluded its final placement process for its 24th batch of PGP along with the batches of PGP- Finance (PGP-F) and PGP Liberal Studies and Management (PGP-LSM). It achieved 100% placements in just three days. Over 159 recruiters participated and presented 559 offers to students. The highest and median package offered during the 2023 placement drive was INR 67.02 LPA and INR 27 LPA, respectively. The top recruiters were top companies like Deloitte, Adani, EY, Amazon, Microsoft, etc.

A total of 13 international offers were made in 2025 for the PGP Course.

As per the latest report, the participating recruiters presented 559 job offers to the batch 2023 of PGP, PGP-F and, PGP-LSM. For the first time, the Financial Times has featured IIM Kozhikode in its list of top 100 Business Schools. The college is ranked 72 by the Financial Times under the Executive Education - Open Programmes category. 

 IIM Kozhikode is one of the top-ranked colleges present in India. IM Kozhikode ranking 2023 in QS is 251-300 under the WUR Ranking By Subject 2023 category. IIM Kozhikode Financial Times Ranking 2023 is 72. This is the first time that Financial Times has ranked this college. 

The students of PGP, PGP-BL and FPM programmes are required to reside on campus. Residential facilities in the campus include 13 student hostels and faculty guest houses. Roobaroo is a cultural event conducted every year during the induction of the new batch to acclimate students to IIMK culture and build a good on-campus community. The Students' Council facilitates elections to the other student committees on campus. In addition to elections, the Students' Council is involved in elective bidding, hostel bidding, co-ordinating other student bodies (IGs, clubs and committees), conducting Farewells, liaising with administration and institutional development activities.

Backwaters (the annual management fest), Echoes (the annual intercollegiate cultural event), E-Summit (the annual entrepreneur meet), and Horizons (the annual management conclave) are a few major events organised by the student body. Bhooklagi is a student-based start-up operating inside the campus. It is the first and only kind of startup that's operating in any IIM. Nostalgia is the annual on-campus alumni meet and has been conducted since 2004. Sangram is an annual sports meet with IIM Bangalore, IIM Trichy, and IIM Visakhapatnam with each institute hosting the event in alternate years.

Kozhikode Marathon Executive Committee of IIM Kozhikode has organized mini-marathon runs in Kozhikode annually. Besides student committees, the institute also has student interest groups for various fields of Management such as marketing, finance, consulting and hobby clubs, photography, music, dance, theatre etc. The institute also offers placement guidance for students and organises placement processes for the summer internship and outgoing batch.

For admission to MBA (or PGP) 2024 batch at IIM Kozhikode, the CAT test will be conducted on November 26, 2023. Aspirants of IIM Kozhikode are required to appear for the exam in Computer Based Testing mode at the allotted test centres. CAT exam 2023 will be held in three slots:

Morning slot: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Afternoon slot: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM

Evening slot: 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM

Earlier, the CAT exam used to be of 180 minutes with 100 questions but in 2020, both exam duration and number of questions were reduced due to COVID-19 pandemic. Now, starting CAT 2022, the total number of questions stands at 66 as part of CAT pattern.

Yes, for admission to E-MBA course, IIM Kozhokode follows the Government of India reservation policy, which is applicable to Central Educational Institutions (CEIs). For admission to a two-year MBA/ PGP course at IIM Kozhikode, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria in the first place. Candidates who passed graduation with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognised university are eligible to apply for MBA course. However, there is a five percent relaxation for reserved category candidates and they must obtain a minimum of 55% aggregate in their final graduation. Further, candidates who do not hold any graduation degree must score minimum 50% aggregate in obtain CA/ICWA/CS to qualify for the eligibility.
