The students of PGP, PGP-BL and FPM programmes are required to reside on campus. Residential facilities in the campus include 13 student hostels and faculty guest houses. Roobaroo is a cultural event conducted every year during the induction of the new batch to acclimate students to IIMK culture and build a good on-campus community. The Students' Council facilitates elections to the other student committees on campus. In addition to elections, the Students' Council is involved in elective bidding, hostel bidding, co-ordinating other student bodies (IGs, clubs and committees), conducting Farewells, liaising with administration and institutional development activities.

Backwaters (the annual management fest), Echoes (the annual intercollegiate cultural event), E-Summit (the annual entrepreneur meet), and Horizons (the annual management conclave) are a few major events organised by the student body. Bhooklagi is a student-based start-up operating inside the campus. It is the first and only kind of startup that's operating in any IIM. Nostalgia is the annual on-campus alumni meet and has been conducted since 2004. Sangram is an annual sports meet with IIM Bangalore, IIM Trichy, and IIM Visakhapatnam with each institute hosting the event in alternate years.

Kozhikode Marathon Executive Committee of IIM Kozhikode has organized mini-marathon runs in Kozhikode annually. This is a course worth exploring.

Placements: The placement process is long, lasting a couple of months, but the placement rate is 100% at IIM Kozhikode. Placements are combined for all courses. The highest CTC offered for the 2024 batch was 72 LPA, and the average was 28 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Accenture, American Express, Deloitte, Wipro, Diageo, BNY, and Standard Chartered, among others. Internships also have 100% offers. The top role for LSM is in sales and marketing, with students also getting offers in finance, consulting, operations, analytics, and more.

Infrastructure: Students have 24/7 access to both the library and Wi-Fi. This is a fully residential program, with students residing on campus for two years. There are different food options both inside and outside the campus. The campus has great sports facilities. It includes a swimming pool, badminton court, basketball court, and squash court.

Faculty: LSM is a very engaging course with many meaningful discussions in class. Certain courses are so intellectually stimulating that 75 minutes pass by without notice. All faculty members are highly qualified, and exams are concept-based.

Other: IIM Kozhikode is the only college offering an MBA in Liberal Studies, giving a completely new perspective on management. This course is best for students who want something different from academically heavy MBA programs. Campus life is also very fun.

Good college with the best facilities.

Placements: I am a student from IIM. The percentage of students who were placed in our course is 83%. The highest package offered from our campus recruitment to our course is 39 lakhs, the lowest package offered for our courses is 7 to 10 lakhs per annum and the average package offered is 13 lakhs. The percentage of students who got internships is 89%, even if I got a research intern on our campus with a stipend. Roles offered in our course are Research Analyst, assistant, etc. Recruiting companies are Wipro, IBM, Infosys and Amazon, etc.

Infrastructure: The teachers are extremely qualified, though some have a hard time communicating with students. The courses are updated and useful and semester exams are hard but grading is relatively easy, so manageable. The majority of the courses are passable, whereas some courses have very young and enthusiastic faculty members.great exposure to research to Ph.D. students.

Faculty: The overall facilities and infrastructure available for our department are good. Our institute infrastructure with library lecture halls and each department building is top-notch and better than most private colleges and older institutions. Hostels are also pretty luxurious, with Japanese architecture and radiant cooling. The mess food is actually pretty tolerable, with a special dinner served once a month having more varieties. The food is balanced and occasionally has fruits and sweets.

Joyful journey of IIM Kozhikode .

Placements: At IIM Kozhikode, placements for students start in their final year. There are about 125 companies that are participating in campus drives, some of which are consulting giants like BCG, Brains, Accenture and leading companies of BFSI (Goldman Sachs, Citibank), FMCG (Nestled, HUL) and IT (Microsoft, Amazon), etc.; they visit frequently; the highest package offered last year was 65 LPA, and the average is 28 LPA. The summer internship programme is an integral part of the curriculum, in which many companies come and give internships. Almost all students get good internships. Deloitte provides most internships.

Infrastructure: Institute and city connectivity are poor. The weather is humid most days. The institute invites famous personalities, like Philip Kotlar, to deliver talks on marketing. Ankit Tiwari and Kimar Varun are also invited. Books and course packs are included in the package and provided by the college. All classrooms have AC, Wi-Fi and auditorium seating that is comfortable. The campus has serval badminton, basketball, table tennis and squash court. There is a 25-meter swimming pool, 1 football court, 11 volleyball courts and a few cricket nets. A common gym is there for students. In hostels, single, double and triple-occupancy rooms are available with AC and attached washrooms. I am from Maharashtra and find it difficult in terms of food habits .

Faculty: Teachers at IIM have a lot of years of experience, are the highest education degree holders and have amazing subject knowledge. IIM is the best institute for management in India; no doubt, its curriculum is fully aligned with industries and the latest technologies. They simply create entrepreneurs rather than employees. Semesters are based on quizzes and case studies but there is a lot of pressure because exams are very difficult .

The college has great faculty and placement opportunities for the students.

Placements: At IIMK, all the courses offered students placement opportunities. Around 70% of the students in the CSE course get placed at this college. The average package offered to our course students was between 5-6 LPA. Top recruiters at the college were IBM, Accenture, KPMG, Deloitte, Walmart, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of IIMK was well maintained and developed. Facilities offered to our course students were good enough. For the students' academics and knowledge development, various modern facilities such as the library, computer labs, Wi-Fi, projectors, etc. were provided here in the college. Hostel facility was available for the students. All the facilities of the college were of good quality. Multiple sports facilities were available in the college for the students.

Faculty: IIMK had both guest and permanent faculty for our course. Yes, the teachers of the college were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All the teachers were supportive to the students, helping them in gaining the best quality knowledge and giving proper guidance to the students. The course curriculum followed here in the college was relevant and made the students industry-ready. Semester exams were not hard to pass.

Placements: IIMs are among the most prestigious and renowned colleges for management courses. At our college, approximately 60–70% of the students get successfully placed. The average package offered here was 6–9 LPA. The top recruiters at this college were Amazon, Myntra, Goldman Sachs, KPMG, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure: IIMK has a wide campus with modern facilities for the interactive learning of students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, hostel, sports, medical, etc., facilities were available for the students. The quality of the offered facilities was good. The quality of the hostel facilities was also good enough.

Faculty: Teachers at IIMK for the MBA program were well qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching offered at our college was good. IIMK campus with all fun and learning.

Placements: The placements in almost every IIM are good, and the same is true for my college, IIM Kozhikode. Almost everyone will get placed, and the companies that attend our college are finance-based e-commerce and finance management companies. The highest package in our college was around 85 LPA, and the median, that is, the average package, is around 25 LPA to 30 LPA, depending on the year. The roles offered are mostly financial manager or CEO, if luck favors you.

Infrastructure: The course is well-designed and makes us ready for industry implementation, which is a very good part that attracts many students towards IIM. The hostel and many other things on the campus are maintained up to the mark, and they are well-designed for the comfort of on-campus students. The campus is fully equipped with Wi-Fi routers and has good AC classrooms. The quality of food available in the mess is very good and hygienic. I literally enjoyed my 2 years' stay on campus.

Faculty: The faculty here are highly educated and have good knowledge of the subject, but they don't interact with the students like many faculty members of B.Tech. or B.Com. do. They give only less time for students to interact and leave the class after taking their class. The semester exams and other exams are set at a good frequency, and there will be only limited exams throughout the semester. The difficulty level of the semester would not be that high; one could easily score with proper preparation.

Other: I took this course after completing my CA for better job opportunities and tried hard to get into IIM. The improvements that are needed to the course are nothing; the course is perfectly designed and suitable for all kinds of students. There are many extracurricular activities at the college. The college has clubs, departments, all sports facilities, medical facilities, shopping facilities, and many more on the campus itself. The events and festivals are the best part of any college, and the same is true for IIMK.
