Eligibility criteria
Candidates must have graduated with 50% aggregate marks and 5% relaxation will be allowed in the case of SC/ST/BC/PH candidates.
Graduates Working in a recognised library with a minimum of one year of experience in a regular or substantial post of the rank of a Record Assistant or above (Experience certificate proforma enclosed at page no. 40) or Graduates with a Diploma or Certificate in Library Science from Government recognised institutions; Professional graduates (Law, Pharmacy, Engineering) are also eligible to apply.

The academic structure and books make distance education equal to regular students.
Placements: There are no placements from this college. There are only a few chances for students to get opportunities. Only students who are having good knowledge of library science can get government jobs from this course outside the college. This college does not provide any placements.
Infrastructure: This college has a good infrastructure. But due to the distance education programs offered by universities, there are only a few centers across Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Among them, only a few centers provide good facilities in academic practical classes and laboratories.
Faculty: The curriculum of this course is excellent and even though the distance education. Curriculum makes the students equal to the regular students. Course having 2 semesters in a single year. But it takes one and half years, because of irregularities of conducting exams by this university.
Other: Those students who are interested in library science after their graduation can take admission to this course.
