Q:   What field should I pursue after class 12th if I want to be a diplomat (Indian Foreign Service)?
A:
You may take up humanities. To become an IFS officer the same procedure needs to be followed as of an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer. One has to appear for the selection procedure (examinations, etc.) organized by the UPSC - The Civil Services Examinations*. The examinations are held in two parts - Preliminaries and Main. The Preliminaries or Prelims are held to eliminate most of the candidates who apply. Then the Mains are held to eliminate from this shorter pool. After the Mains successful candidates are interviewed. Meanwhile, when applying for the examination the candidate has to rank the services according to his/her preference. Some candidates choose IAS as the first, IFS as the second, and so on. Others may choose IFS as the first, IAAS as the second, and IAS as the third and so. (I am just giving some examples). Now if the candidate's examination performance is good enough to be interviewed for his/her first preference then everything is hunky dory. Otherwise, they are interviewed for their second preference or third preference or fourth preference or so on - depending on the Mains performance. If one is successful in the interview then he/she gets training in the services for which he/she is selected. So (in the ideal condition) to become an IFS officer one has to select IFS as the first choice and perform well in the exam to be listed in the list of interviewees for foreign services. IAS probationers are trained in Mussoorie (Lal Bahadur Sashtri National Academy of Administration). As far as I know, IFS probationers are trained in Delhi, in the IFS Institute (Old JNU campus) in front of Ber Sarai, across IIT Delhi, and across the JNU campus. Once the training is over, the newly appointed officers join the service. Depending on the requirements they get posting either within India (either South or North Block, wherever the MEA ministry is) or outside (Indian Consulates/High Commissions/Embassies abroad as junior officers). Then they gradually progress through promotion. So that is the story in short of how one becomes the IFS officer and a diplomat.
Q:   Can I become a teacher after pursuing B.A in International Relations?

In some schools graduates in International Relations can also become Political Science teachers or Social Studies teachers. If you have pursued a D.Ed or B.Ed courses and have cleared TET exam then you stand a better chance of getting selected by schools. You can also become an tutor and can teach students either in offline or online mode.
