It is a knowledgeable university with minimum fees. However, there is a need to boost placements.
Placements: The placements of the college are not that good. It is a government university and the main focus is on making the students thorough with the course curriculum. You will be provided in-depth knowledge and also will be informed about other opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The college is expanded over a vast area. There is no wi-fi connection. The classrooms also do not have air conditioners. The labs and library are well organized. The hostels and theory environment are amicable with proper rules and regulations.
Faculty: The teachers are very friendly. They entertain all sorts of doubts, whether personal or professional. They teach beyond the course curriculum as well. They provide with proper career guidance. I still have contacts with some of my teachers. My overall experience was really great.
Other: The fests are organized periodically. Various cultural fests and other competitive events are held. The crowd is complete fun and frolic. The toppers are also accoladed with scholarships.

I am satisfied with the college. Faculty and facilities both are sufficient enough.
Placements: Less number of students are placed in our college as most companies visit the campus to offer fieldwork in which most of the girls are not interested. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Companies like HCL and many more visited the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The college provides all the facilities. Labs and classrooms are well maintained. The quality of the food served in the canteen is good. Hostel rooms are very clean. I didn't face any kind of issues regarding the infrastructure of the college during my tenure. The college is the best for sports purposes, especially for table tennis.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help any student in any situation. Most probably, they use all the teaching methods which help the students. I didn't get industry exposure. They conduct an industrial trip every year.
Other: I don't know much about the scholarships. However, SHUATS organises the fest every year. It also organises the convocation.

It seems difficult, but you should definitely appear in counseling. Maybe you get selected. If you want to pursue from any private university then you can try Chandigarh University.
10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture with at least 60% marks in aggregate
