Great Improvement is a must.
Placements: Placements: Jammu University offers a wide range of placements. Every year about 3 to 5 Multinational companies offer different kinds of Jobs to the students. These companies offer jobs to the deserving students and almost all toppers get selected. However, there is also a scope of development in the university for the students. In terms of %, about 60% of toppers get selects for various jobs in those companies. Salaries were offered according to the position they were given. In case if a position of Computer Operator is offered, the salary which is offered ranges from Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 and which is the lowest position for which they would come and if a higher position of Business Analyst is offered, the salary of Rs.40,000 per month is offered and Average salary which is offered is Rs.20,000 for certain Jobs. Companies which visited during my tenure are ICICI, Tech Mahindra, Hyundai, other banks, etc. As in case of roles, Receptionist, Assistant Manager, Sales Executive, Marketing Manager, Business Analyst, Computer Operator, etc. Were offered. Internship: University also provides Internship after every semester to PG students as well as professional students. The stipend ranges from Rs.2,000 to Rs. 4,000 (maximum) which provides great opportunities to the students. A group of students are given opportunity to get selected for Internship.
Infrastructure: There are various types of facilities available in the university which are supposed to be there. Classrooms are neat and clean. A huge Investment is made in its building. The surrounding is so clean and neat which enables students to surf university while studying. The food served there is of Good Quality and is served at a very nominal value. Students gather there so that they could have something to eat. Hostel Facility is also provided to the students coming from long distances and even those students living near can opt for the option. There are not many issues I faced but there is a lot of need for some improvement in its facility. They should be updated as per today's generation.
Faculty: Teachers in our University are available for various courses. They are helpful to the extent they think the should be. They would help students in the class, however, after class, they seem not so interested in solving your doubts. The quality of teaching is also not up to the mark. The university should opt for teachers who would provide in-depth knowledge with a clear understanding of each and every concept.
Other: The University is full of various courses and hence a number of students opting for the same.

I am satisfied with the faculty and all other facilities which were in the campus.
Placements: There were no placements in Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu for our course, M.Com, as it was a correspondence course. There were no internships provided in distance education. But if you do regular M.Com from University of Jammu, you will get placements and internship industry exposure.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games are available on the campus. Our campus was not Wi-Fi enabled but our classrooms, library, etc. are good. The quality of classrooms and labs is good. The food available in the canteen is of a good quality. The hostel rooms are good. I didn't face any infrastructure issues during my tenure at the university.
Faculty: The faculty of Directorate of Distance Education, University of Jammu was well qualified, experienced, helpful and knowledgeable. We had 15-day classes where they used to give us lectures. We didn't get any industry exposure. The course curriculum was useful.
