Q: What is the difference between the syllabus of Andhra Pradesh LAWCET and the syllabus of CLAT?
A:
Both the AP LAWCET and CLAT entrance exam are conducted for admission to the Law schools in India, however, the syllabus for these exams are different on many parameters and candidates should strategise differently for both the exams. AP LAWCET exam has sections including Current Affairs, Legal Aptitude, Contract Law, Constitution, etc. and the CLAT entrance exam sections include English Language, Legal Aptitude, Mathematics, etc. AP LAWCET does not have mathematics subjects, AP LAWCET exam focus more on regional knowledge. CLAT generally covers the deeper aspects of the particular subject.

I am absolutely satisfied because of facilities, good environment, and helpful teachers.
Placements: Each batch contains 120 students, which are divided into 2 batches of 60 students. Every law firm in India tries to recruit students from this college. The college has courses like B.A. LL.B, BBA LL.B, LL.M, etc. It even has an ADR for dispute solutions.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi, a library, a canteen, a parking space, etc. The college has everything we need, like a good environment, counselling facilities, medical and monetary aid for students who are in need of it. Overall, it's the best college to choose.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some teachers have a doctorate degree in the law field. They have a curriculum, and the college is under the Karnataka Law University. There are 10 semesters for B.A. LL.B. and BBA LL.B. courses, and 6 semesters for the LL.M. course.
Other: I chose this course because it provides various opportunities in the field of law. It is very interesting to study law. There are many events, fests, scholarships, and extracurricular activities for students to help them improve themselves.

I am satisfied with college and infrastructure.
Placements: The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. There is no perfect placement system in college. Most students are interested in joining offices of senior advocates, so information regarding this is provided.
Infrastructure: Food served is awesome. Separate hostel for boys and girls is available. Hostel rooms are very good, canteen is available with some snacks. Medical facilities are good. Classrooms are neat. Wi-Fi is available. Number of books available in library is sufficient.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Most professors are PhD holders. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They have a lot of experience. They are very helpful. Course curriculum is relevant to subject. Semester exams are difficult. Pass percentage is 65%.

Placements: An exclusive Placement Drive is conducted wherein students not only from the college but also the districts around DK, can apply. The Placement cell trains students for job interviews. Well known firms like Lex Hawk, Fox Mandal etc. , visit the college. Students are encouraged to intern from their first year of law, in various law firms, ADR centres, High courts and Supreme Court.
Infrastructure: The college has decent infrastructure which facilitates comfortable environment. Each classroom accommodates a strength of about 60 students. The entire campus is under CCTV surveillance. The college library is well-equipped with all the necessary books on law and other related subjects. The college library subscribes to various law journals and publications. It also has a research centre supporting the research enthusiasts, especially with the help of annual online subscription to ManuPatra. The college has an additional Moot Court Hall, Auditorium, Seminar Hall, ADR room, Law Lab and Sports Room. The canteen provides delicious food at extremely reasonable rates. The college does not provide hostel facility, however, PG accommodation is made available to those in need.
Faculty: The college is affiliated to the Karnataka State Law University, Hubli. They offer courses like B.A. LL.B. (5yr integrated), BBA LL.B. (5yr integrated), LL.B. (3 years), LL.M. Ph.D. and Other Certificate and Diploma courses. The college will soon introduce B.Com. , LL.B. too. The professors are highly knowledgeable, friendly, supportive and energetic. They adopt the lecture method of teaching. They highly encourage students to participate in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Students receive practical training during court visits and mooting sessions. The course curriculum is highly useful if the student is willing to pursue his career as a litigant or legal advisory. The college also provides in-house coaching for students interested to appear for Company Secretary examinations.
Other: The college annually conducts a National-level Law fest titled Juris Ingenio and a National-level Commerce fest titled Scintillate. Students are encouraged to participate in inter-collegiate corporate/management and law fests conducted by various colleges. The students celebrate the festival of Onam in grandeur and vigor to bring-in the inter-state cultural diversity. The college provides Scholarship and financial aid for financially backward students and also the meritorious students.

SDM Law College is one of the best college.
Placements: The placements are good. The best placements are provided in this college, and the students of different colleges also get placed in the placements. I met a few of my seniors, they all are in good positions because of SDM Law College. As per my knowledge, many companies visited the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is the best. The library is good, and there is a good environment to study. There are plenty of journals available in the library. Good auditorium and a good canteen are available. It is a better place for law students to pursue law. The study room also helps the students.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and supportive. All the faculty members have done specialization in their subject. There are a few good faculty members who completed their law. Partiality is not shown in this college. No student feels lonely in this college. The teaching is the best because the best faculty teach us. Many lawyers studied from Shri Dharmastala Law College.
Other: SDM Law College conducts many fests and events. This helps students to study in a better way. A lot of activities are also conducted. The faculty make the students take part in all fests. The scholarship of SDM helps many students.

It is a good college with moderate infrastructure and great facilities.
Placements: Some students of our college get placed depending on their rank. The highest salary package is 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Several students get internships under various prominent lawyers in the city. The salary package offered is great. Top roles offered are advocate, corporate lawyer, and litigation.
Infrastructure: Our college has good classrooms and great infrastructure. The quality of food is developing. It provides training for sports and games. All the qualities are good but the infrastructure could be more developed. Facilities provided in our college are good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful and qualified. The course curriculum prescribed by KSLU makes students aware of the industry. Exams are easy but students must prepare well and make notes.
Other: Our college organises many fests and extracurricular activities. Infrastructure could be improved. The best thing about our college is teaching methods and the way of explanation is good.

It is a decent private college of law.
Placements: Final year students are eligible for placement. So many law firms and other companies visited our college. After getting my degree, I am planning to get coaching for the UPSC exam. College allows each student to be a particular advocate for interns. Students even intern at NGO and police station.
Infrastructure: Library is good. There are books on our subject. But sometimes there are fewer copies so the other students will not get books. Except for that library, the facility is the best. There is an internet facility. There is the availability of previous year question papers. Classroom is very good. It has sufficient numbers of desks and fans. There is one projector in each class. Sports are very supported in our college, and there is a yoga facility too. NSS, student union, etc., are the groups run by students for students.
Faculty: We have 28+ lecturers in our college. In my class, there are 60 students, in another section there are 60 students. Recently, 3 of our lecturers got doctorates. A few lecturers are working on their projects. Most teachers use PPT as it helps us very much. They even give proper materials and reference books. Our college comes under Karnataka State Law University. It is very tough to pass. One cannot pass here without proper hard work. But if we study well, then we can clear.

The College Cut-off is the minimum mark prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. A merit list will be designed on these Cutoff scores.
