Outstanding Infrastructure, Relevant curriculum, and Excellent placements.
Placements: The MCA programme has a 90% placement rate. The highest package is 15 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, and Dell. Most of the students got internships. The top roles offered are software development, system analyst, IT consultant, and network engineer.
Infrastructure: ISME offers excellent facilities for my course, including W-Fi, modern labs, well-equipped classrooms, and a comprehensive library. The hostel facilities are good, with clean rooms and decent food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are readily available, and the campus supports various sports and games, ensuring a well-rounded student experience.
Faculty: ISME boasts highly qualified, knowledgeable, and helpful teachers. The teaching quality is excellent, with a relevant curriculum that prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are fair but challenging, with a high pass percentage of around 95% reflecting the rigorous academic environment and effective teaching.

M.Tech. (Research) in Industrial Biotechnology - Batch of 2022

It's The Top most college in our country.
Placements: About 70% of students get placed in NITK for industrial biotechnology. The maximum package is 15 LPA without minors. Taking shorter courses will increase the average package. The average package is around 7 LPA, and the minimum is 5.5 LPA. One of the top recruiting firms is . Students get internship opportunities and pre-placement offers before reaching the final year. A 7 CGPA is the minimum requirement to sit for the campus placement interview.
Infrastructure: NITK has a sprawling 295.35-acre campus that offers a wide range of facilities and infrastructure to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff. We have a marvelous classroom with a great seating capacity. The institute has state-of-the-art laboratories for the various engineering disciplines, equipped with modern machinery and equipment.
Faculty: The faculty members of NITK are outstanding and extraordinary. They are outstanding in their field, with many journals and famous research activities. The course is designed in such a way that when students appear for an interview with a company, they can easily qualify. Semester exams are not that difficult if one is studying on the first day of the semester itself. Because the syllabus is planned to be technical,.
Other: By choosing this course, you have the opportunity to explore too many fields at the industrial level. The course has too much demand in industries. From crowds to festivals, everything is greatly organised.

Our college does not have permanent faculty members.
Placements: Getting placements is difficult in our college. Some recruiting companies include TAJ, Paper Boat, etc. Almost all students got internships. The roles offered are related to finance, marketing, and HR.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided in the classrooms. Medical facilities are not provided. The canteen does not serve a variety of food items. The facility is not poor but keeps on changing. We don't visit labs often, so I am unaware of them.
Faculty: Our teachers must give more practical field knowledge. Semester exams are not hard to crack. The pass percentage is 50%. Teachers are helpful. Some of them are involved in students' personal lives, which is not so good.
Other: Events conducted are not poor, but management can be improved. The campus is in the village, so there is not much to see in the surroundings. The hostel security does not allow us outside the campus without a gate pass if we have to go out after 9 p.m.

M.Tech. in Construction Technology and Management - Batch of 2024
4.8
4Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Reason why I chose NIT Mangalore.
Placements: From the third semester on, the students are eligible for campus placement. There are a lot of companies that visit campus and offer placement to eligible students. Some companies visiting campus are L&T and Amazon. CSE, IT, and ECE students have higher placement rates. Our department placement percentage is 80%. An internship is given by L&T, Atkins, for ongoing metro and tunneling projects. Here we get a chance to learn design. The median package is 6 lpa.
Infrastructure: NIT is the top institute; our college is known for activities, concerts, and festivals. There are a lot of clubs, both technical and cultural. Students can join any one of the clubs and showcase there special talent. There are 2 well-equipped libraries on campus, which is sufficient for all students needs. There are a lot of labs and research centers for students. A lot of importance is given to sports on campus. For first-year students, hostel rooms are shared by three people; wherever second-year students are, single-shared rooms are allotted. Hostels are specious and well-equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi. The quality of the food is not great, and students from different states need to adjust to the food. Registration for hostels is placed in the college app.
Faculty: Teachers in college are very helpful, more curious and teach practicals and design. Teachers are highly qualified Ph.D.s from top Indian institutes. The NIT curriculum is rigorous but it prepares students to face real-life problems. Exams are administered four times during the semester. Two quizzes, mid-semester and end-semester, are conducted in college. The difficulty level is high (8/10).
Other: The college is located in a forest area, and there are a lot of snakes on campus. Auditorium capacity is less and the number of students is higher.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2023

College is average and we can give it a 3/5.
Placements: The placement cell is working but only 20% of students are benefiting from it. While college advertisements are showing aviation, logistics, supply chain markets, etc. such add-on courses are truly the worst and waste of money. The college is not taking any responsibility for the majority of students who lost their money in my batch .
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not allowed for students, and the canteen is also very sad, but classrooms are very good and a clean hostel is also good. Sports and games are going well. Infrastructure and labs are all over good and a parking area is also there but the ground is too short .
Faculty: The majority of teachers are helpful and qualified but a few are not properly qualified. Semester exams and internal exams are not very difficult. But our personal dealings with the university is so hard, e.g. getting provisional certificate, migration certificate, convocation certificate, etc. The college will not take any responsibility for this.
Other: Well, the college and surrounding areas, especially classroom washrooms, are very clean and hygienic. While coming to events and sports activities, its above average; the college is going well in that regard; the facilities and HOD are also good; but the management and head are not much understanding of the students properly. They are treated as CBSE students. In my personal experience, during the graduation period, college was not allowed outside of Camara Man; they only provided, but they didn't share any graduation pictures with us, even though we paid. We asked for it several times.
