2. Admins - This is mid-level. The certificates include Administrator, Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, and Slack Admin.
3. Designers - Another mid-level role for the administrators in UI/UX design, the certificates include User Experience Designer and Strategy Designer.
4. Consultants - Salesforce administrators can also go for independent certifications as Sales Cloud Consultant, Field Service Consultant, Experience Cloud Consultant, Business Analyst, and others.
5. Architects - These are at the senior level. Certifications include Applications Architect, B2C Solution Architect, B2B Solution Architect, Integration Architect, etc.
6. Marketers - The Certifications here are for entry- to senior-level professionals in the Salesforce ecosystem. Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Account Architect, etc., are available.
7. Developers - Platform Developer I and II, Javascript Developer1, Omnistudio Developer, etc., are available as entry and mid-level certifications.

Salesforce Products and Certifications

The products or solutions appear as sales, service, marketing, commerce, data cloud, Tableau, Mulesoft, and Platform. There are certifications for each.

1. Sales - Administrator, Sales Cloud Consultant, and Advanced Administrator are the main ones.
2. Service - Administrator, Service Cloud Consultant, and Field Service Consultant are the regular professional certificates.
3. Marketing - Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, Marketing Cloud Consultant, and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement Consultant are available for the marketing role.

7. Mulesoft - The main certifications here are Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Associate, Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Developer I, Salesforce Certified Hyperautomation Specialist, and Salesforce Certified MuleSoft Platform Architect I.
8. Platform - These may overlap with some of the roles mentioned above. They are Administrator, Data Cloud Consultant, Platform App Builder, and Platform Developer I.

Along with the learning paths available, there are additional ways of exam preparation. These are through Superbadges and Super Sets—all available on the Trailhead platform.

Superbadges and Super Sets from Salesforce Trailhead are two different skill-based credentials. They validate practical knowledge and problem-solving abilities in real-world scenarios.

1. Superbadges: They help learners apply their learned skills to complex business challenges, earning substantial points upon completion. Each Superbadge typically requires several hours of commitment and culminates in a capstone assessment.
2. Super Sets: They are a collection of Superbadges. One, such as Admin Super Set or App Builder Super Set, aggregates multiple Superbadges within a specific domain. They demonstrate comprehensive expertise.
