What is CRM (Customer Relationship Management)?
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) can be defined as the practices, strategies and technologies used by different companies to improve customer service relationships. Customer relationship managers analyse customer interactions and data throughout the customer lifecycle to assist in customer retention and driving sales growth. A company’s Customer data includes information like customer/company’s website, telephone, live chat, direct mail, marketing materials and social media. CRM systems can also give customer-facing staff detailed information on customers' personal information, purchase history, buying preferences and concerns.
CRM course eligibility
- There are mostly MBA courses for CRM. Admission to any of the MBA programme requires passing Common Admission Test (CAT) along with graduate degree from a recognized college and university. However, other business schools requires passing either CAT, XAT, GMAT or MAT each of which qualifies candidates for entrance into any management institutions in India.
- Apart from these entrance tests there are few business schools which conducts aptitude test individually. Short listed candidates in these tests may ask to appear for additional GD and PI rounds.
- Many B-schools offer admission to a candidate on the basis of the cumulative scores of the Entrance Exam, GD/PIs, and sometimes work experience.
