It helps in distance learning, but course material, teachers and not having hostels may disappoint.

Placements: Since most of the courses offered here are distance courses, many students have to seek jobs on their own. Very few companies visit our university, and before some years, none of the companies even want to visit here. Salary packages offered are generally not according to students' expectations. In our batch, I have never seen any student doing an internship in a company.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available for students but available for staff members. Students have to seek private lodges to stay, which can be easily found nearby college. Students have to visit a private mess or bring their own food. Some medical facilities are available, but there are no sports or games. The library is well established, and students can visit it if needed.

Faculty: Teachers are frequently changed and generally hired rather than appointed. So, it blocks the continuity of study somewhat. Teachers are average, and they are qualified but not the best. Printed books have many errors. Courses are relevant, but they can't surely make students industry-ready.

Other: I am from the 2016-2018 batch and completed my master's in physics. I chose this course because I like physics. The best thing about this course is that unlike other courses, in physics, we can apply our thoughts to make things work. Events are organised. Even in convocation, the governor of the state provides students with degrees. Campus surroundings are very noisy and crowded. I don't ever participate in extracurricular activities. Extracurricular activities are conducted, but these are more specific rather than general.

Can I apply for Masters in physics after B.Tech computer science ?

Yes, you can, but make sure you have to work really very hard, because pursuing a master in physics without a Bachelor in Physics is a very difficult thing. So, study hard. My best wishes to you.
