CBSE Class 10 Science Exam Pattern 2026

The CBSE Class 10 Science Question Paper 2026 will be divided into five sections: A, B, C, D, and E. The total marks allotted for the A Section are 20. The B and C sections are of 12 marks and 21 marks, respectively. The D and E sections are of 15 marks and 12 marks each. CBSE Class 10 Science Question Paper 2026 is of 80 marks. The question paper consists of :

Section A: 16 MCQs + 4 Assertion-Reasoning (1 mark each)
Section B: 6 Short Answer (2 marks each)
Section C: 7 Short Answer (3 marks each)
Section D: 3 Long Answer (5 marks each)
Section E: 3 Case/Source-based Questions (4 marks each)
