Dissatisfied with teachers and their bad behavior.
Placements: 10% of students are placed in our course. The highest package offered is just 10 LPA. The lowest is 3.2 LPA. The top recruiters are HDFC Bank and Google. About 90% of students are placed in internships in banking companies and high-end tech companies.
Infrastructure: The college library is good, but the classrooms and labs are average at best, with zero to no comfort for students. Hostel facilities are worse. There is no hygiene in the canteens. The food is tasteless, and there is mess everywhere. There are zero facilities for games and sports in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but are not helpful at all. They are arrogant and only think of themselves. Semester exams are the most unfair thing in this college. Teachers just want to fail you. Mostly judge students based on their looks and satisfy their own ego.
Other: Connectivity is the best. Events take place, and the campus crowd is bearable.

Placements: Around 60 percent of the students from my course are placed all around in different companies. They are offered good and satisfactory packages. The highest package is 9 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. Top recruiters for our course are Airtel, Teleperformance, and Genpact. The roles offered are supervisor, manager, and HR.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course and department are clean, tidy, spacious, and good. We have labs available. The classrooms are neat, and we also have a library available with a wide range of books available to us. The quality of the hostel is also better compared to other colleges, the quality of food is fresh and good in the mess and canteen. Our college also has medical facilities available for many kinds of emergencies. Talking about sports and games, a lot of games are conducted throughout the year with a lot of participants taking part.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They listen to the students, they help everyone as per the students' needs, and the teaching quality is immaculate. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant, with them teaching us the in-depth application and research of the subject, making us industry-ready. The difficulty of the examination depends on the student, generally I consider it fairly difficult, but that's a good thing because they don't miss anything in the syllabus and try to make us industry-ready. The pass percentage is quite good. Around 89 percent of students pass with good marks.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn more about the business administration field and how we apply this knowledge practically. The best things about this course are that it teaches you how money works in the market and how we can maximize our value. I think all of the things are pretty good, with a little to improve. There are a lot of events held at our college throughout the year. There are fests in which students take part. The campus crowd is decent and good, with good people around, good connectivity, surroundings are good, and scholarships are available.

Very good infrastructure.
Placements: The university is providing a tremendous academic atmosphere to students, particularly the famous library in Kashmir University, which attracts many students studying in Kashmir University as well as outsiders who are preparing for other competitive exams my department is doing tremendous work for the undergraduate programme and also providing placement after completion of the degree. If you want to pursue any degree from Kashmir University, you can go for it.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in my department is quite good. The laboratories are well maintained, a few things are lacking, like some infrastructure is limited. The hostel is quite good, providing students with best-value, pocket-friendly prices, not so much inflation. The food is good. Wi-Fi facility is present. The library in the hostel is also well maintained.
Faculty: The teaching staff is well qualified. All the teachers are Masters in their relevant field, providing very good support to students in their course. The difficulty level is moderate for the exams and the pass percentage in my department is 95 percent. The papers are moderate though but the students are quite good in their academics that's the main reason the pass percentage is that high.

A beautiful, attractive college. It is indeed beautiful. It is surrounded by trees & greenery.
Placements: To be straightforward, since it is a traditional government college, most students in my course opted to pursue their Masters degrees or prepare for civil services rather than jump immediately into the corporate sector. Because of this, only about 15% to 20% of students were placed directly through the college. The top recruiting companies were mostly local Kashmir enterprises, regional agro-industries like Kanwal Foods and Mir Agro, and a few regional financial setups. The top roles offered to my batch were Sales Executive, Junior Accountant, and Supervisors.
Infrastructure: This is the main thing in college, as we had computers, etc. With Wi-Fi facility, classrooms are spacious, labs are well-equipped, and the library is massive! Hostels are comfortable with tasty mess food. We have excellent sports grounds, decent Wi-Fi, and reliable medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers gave an absolute 100% & taught with dedication. The semester exams are at a pretty moderate level. Teachers are highly qualified and supportive. The curriculum is relevant and prepares students well for the industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult and very fair, boasting an excellent 85% pass percentage!
Other: The world is changing, so are we, it is the necessity of life. Computer & AI is the future, that's why I chose it.

Did I waste my 3 years at Islamia College of Science and Commerce? My honest college review.
Placements: Unfortunately, no student in my course got placed. The college has an official placement cell, but it is practically inactive. No student from my batch got an internship either. Any student for whom getting placed is a priority should think more before joining this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was kind of decent. The classrooms were both big and small. My favorite place in the entire college was the library. The library is well-maintained, with AC and Wi-Fi facilities as well. The hostel is average. The boys' hostel contains around 26 rooms. Three students stay in a room, making it difficult to have private space there. The food was also decent, though I personally found some hygienic issues. The college has a big group, and you can participate in multiple sports.
Faculty: Teachers were formally qualified and knowledgeable. However, most of them, except for a few, lacked effective teaching techniques. I feel the curriculum, for the most part, is not relevant from the industry perspective. You're mostly trained for getting good marks, not for jobs. The difficulty of the semester exams was moderate. Most of the students (80%) pass the exam easily.
Other: I chose this course because I was fairly good at the subject. I had decided in my 10th class that I would take the Commerce stream. However, I was a little disappointed with the syllabus. I feel that the syllabus taught at the Bachelor's level should be designed with the needs of the industry at the center. The college does organize events, but very few. I hope the college organizes more events in the future. About the scholarships, I'm not sure. I am from a general category. I don't think they have scholarship programs for reserved categories.
