An enriching college experience with knowledgeable faculty.
Placements: The on-campus placement drive doesn’t usually happen. The job opportunities provided in the on-campus placement drive are very low. Students usually go for off-campus placements. Many seniors have opted for jobs in off-campus placements only. There is not any known rate for the placements of the passouts through this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good and labs are well maintained with new generation computers. The hostel facilities are also available for the students from far-flung areas. Also, there is a canteen and a dispensary for the students inside the campus.
Faculty: There are teachers available for every subject, and the permanent teachers usually start teaching from the second year. The first year is totally taught by the contractual faculty. The semester exams are comprised of two exams: one internal mid-semester and another external end-semester. Students have to secure a minimum of 20 marks in both exams to qualify for the next semester.

National Institute of Electronics & Information Technology - the best IT college in the city.
Placements: About 80% students were placed in my course. The average salary of our students is about 2 Lacs per annum, where as the highest salary may go upto 4.5 Lacs per annum. Most of the students got placed in companies such as BQE, HP, Intel, etc. The role offered to our students are like front end developed, back end developed, full sack developed, software tester, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our college are the best as compared to other institutions in the city. There are modern labs continuing every possible element in order to make it easy for the students to learn new things. There are also hostel facilities available for the students.
Faculty: The teachers in business are very helpful and highly qualified. The staff is almost the best in the business. The course is curriculum relevant and it makes students ready to takeover industries with their knowledge and their skills. The semester exams are pretty good and the pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because I believe that the internet is creating opportunities for students, and I want to be part of that. I think the course is good as is, and doesn't need any modifications.

In 2018, faculty at that time was average.Non-avaliability of wifi services impacting students
Placements: About 5000 students ,This was purely an academic bachelor's degree course, So, Chance of getting recruited in private companies is low.Non- of internet services inside the campus hinders students to get access from online resources.Nepotism works at lot here in this college, especially in chemistry department where they keep the marks of their very high for no reason
Infrastructure: Faculty were average and there was no availability of wifi at that time.Cheap librarian at that time,he was not giving books to students for more than 7 days and were giving books to his for months without charging for penalty. Non- availability of wifi at that campus hinders students from getting access of online resources

Whoever reads my review will get detailed information about the college.
Placements: I'm a Bachelor of Business Administration student, currently studying in my second year. In my point of view, our college has great placements in all fields. The college offers various courses which provide opportunities to get an admission in our college.
Infrastructure: Government Degree College, Anantnag, was established in 1950. It is spread across an area of 250 kanal. Our college has great infrastructure as well as facilities, whether it's inside the buildings or outside. It has a big play ground for sports. A Library is built somewhere in one corner of the college. Also, it has personal Wi-Fi with a range of 3-5 meters.
Faculty: Our teachers have gained high level of education. Their insights for the students are rare. In a year, there are two semesters at intervals of 6 months. The passing percentage is according to the CGPA. The students should get a minimum of 5 CGPA to qualify a semester.
Other: In 2026, I'll pass out from this college and become a BBA graduate. BBA is related to business and marketing. In today's era, I think it is the best course to pursue.

Very bad place to complete your graduation because of the lacking faculty and opportunities.
Placements: The university does not have a placement cell, and no companies come to campus for on-campus placements. As a result, there are zero placements, and no students have received high or low packages.
Infrastructure: The engineering department is a two-story building with four classrooms and two computer labs. Each classroom has air conditioning and a projector for digital demonstrations. The library is well stocked with the books required for the courses offered on campus. Water filters are provided in every building. The hostel is located about 3 kilometers from the campus and is accessible by a dedicated bus route. The hostel mess is run by students, and the food and cooking areas are hygienic. Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi on campus or in the hostel, and the internet connectivity in the area is poor. Finally, there is an on-site general physician, but no sports are played on campus because there is no playground.
Faculty: Some of the faculty were helpful, but the quality of teaching was not fine. The curriculum was outdated and not up to industry standards. It was very difficult to pass semester exams, and there were a lot of students who were held back. The university intentionally fails students to milk them for exam fees.
Other: Our college campus is lacking in its curriculum, teaching outdated subjects instead of industry-standard education. There are very few events, and those are mostly formal. The campus is isolated, situated about 60 kilometers from the city. On the plus side, the campus is surrounded by greenery, and cellular connectivity is okay, although there is no Wi-Fi.
