I am satisfied with faculty members, cooperative staff, decent infrastructure and good placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. A good number of students get placed here. In Varanasi, Microtek College of Management & Technology is the best option for pursuing a biotechnology course. Companies like Ranbaxy, Dabur, Cipla, etc., visit our campus for placements. The salary they were offering was decent. Do not expect a high amount as you are only graduated.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not that great. Our college provides the best departments. Classrooms, library and labs are fully air-conditioned. Labs have everything for practical work. As per my times, most of the classes were held in labs because this course is all about practical works rather than theory, and teachers are doing good at their job.

Faculty: The best thing about the college is the teachers. They are the best. The teaching skills of the teachers were spectacular as they go to the minute details of every topic. They try hard to clear the doubts of every student. They used to set real-life examples so that students like us feel comfortable applying this knowledge to the real world as the course demands practical skills.

Other: I have chosen this course because I believe biotechnology is a booming industry within a decade. In fact, it is evident from this ongoing pandemic the use of biotech is vast, and it has a scope. So, being a Biology student, I would prefer this course to the students who are interested in Biology and research or if you are a homesick student like me. According to my experience, it is one of the best colleges in Varanasi offering this course.

No, Microtek College of Management & Technology is not approved for distance mode of education. So, it can not provide distance learning programme. However, it offers full time UG courses like B. Sc, etc.

If you want to join a course in biotechnology then you must have a science background. Some universities offer B.Sc biotechnology which one can join after class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics.
