Bharathidasan University conducts an entrance exam to select candidates for BTech. All aspirants seeking admission to six year integrated M.Tech course should have studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC) in Class 12 or equivalent qualifying examinations. The final selection for BTech is base on performance of the aspirants in the entrance test and personal interview round.
Bharathidasan University offers a total of 191 different specialisations under its BA programme. The university has a total of 146 affiliated colleges. These colleges offer different BA courses amounting to 191 specialisations. The popular specialisations to pursue are English, Mathematics, Physics, Botany, Geology, Political Science, Indian Culture and Tourism. Admission to these courses are made based on marks obtained in Higher Secondary Examination.
