This is the best college that I could get. NIT Trichy provides the best placements.

Placements: Currently, I am in 2nd year, so we have no placements yet. But as per my seniors, 80-90% of students get placed in different domains. Companies like L&T, Cantilever, PSUs, etc., come for placements. The highest package offered was 17 LPA, and the lowest package was 6 LPA. 15-30% of students got internships.

Infrastructure: As our batch never visited the campus, it's difficult to tell about the infrastructure. However, as per seniors, we have 27 hostels and 6 mess facilities related to different parts of India. E...

Review of NIT Trichy - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: In the core course, the maximum salary package offered by AbInbev is 13 LPA for SCM profiles, and the average salary package offered is 7.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Caterpillar, Bajaj, HUL, etc. In the analytics course, the maximum salary package offered by Fractal Analytics is 10.5 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8.52 LPA. Top recruiting companies for the analytics course are Thorogood, ZS, GEP, Novartis and Axis. In the software course, the maximum salary...

There is not any drawback in this college.

Placements: Almost every year, about 80% of students get placements in Intel, Microsoft, Infosys and Google from here. The highest salary package offered is 1 crore per annum, and the lowest salary package offered is around 12 LPA-14 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 17 LPA-24 LPA. Almost 70% of students get internships from our college in top companies like Texas, Microsoft, etc.

Infrastructure: There are a lot of facilities in our college. There is Orion hall, where our classes are held. The classrooms hav...

Here M.Sc. in Computer Science course is completely placement oriented, in my view.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 28.9 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like SAP Labs, Micron, Citicorp, Cerner, Atyati Technologies, FICO, etc., visit our campus for placements. None of the students from our course got an internship this year. Roles like software developer, software engineer, data scientist, data engineer and data analyst are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: Our college provides a 24x7 high-speed Wi-Fi facility in hostels and labs. There is 24x7 access to the cyber library. We can access the central library from 7 AM to 9 PM. There is 24x7 availability of health centre. There are different messes for north Indian and south Indian students. However, North Indians can choose south Indian mess. There are different messes for vegetarian and non-vegetarian students. There are separate messes for both boys and girls. Girls cannot enter in boys hostel. An ...

It has the top placements in India, a loving faculty and a generous environment. No regret.

Placements: Almost, there will be 100 percent placements for those who applied for it. Many people went for higher studies, and some went to research. A maximum of 2 to 3 people failed to get a decent job. Internships here are comparable to old IITs and also for the scenario of placement, no one regrets joining NIT-Trichy instead of IITs.

Infrastructure: The college has an 800+ acre of campus, I.e. 3 times bigger than IIT-Delhi or Bombay. Of course, the buildings are well furnished, and hostel buildings are old. Many new b...

You'll get a lot of opportunities in NIT Trichy to express yourself, expose yourself and develop yourself. You'll find a lot of platforms which are led by the students itself which gives you opportunity to explore yourself and launch yourself. NIT Trichy is really a good option as there are knowledgeable peers around you which helps you study well and compete and build knowledge. NIT Trichy has excellent amenities. It's the first top NIT which stands in top 10 in NIRF ranking which is far better than most of the IITs , especially in CSE branch. No need to think more, just go for NIT Trichy.
IIT Bhubaneswar is also a good option. But where ever you join you have to give your best to be placed . So choose wisely .

Shall I go for metallurgy in NIT-Trichy, Surathkal, Warangal, Nagpur or CSE in NIT, Raipur?

NIT Trichy is better than the colleges which have the working field for the core jobs like NIT Jamshedpur, NIT Raipur, etc. Because the activities provided at NIT Trichy will overpower that. Hope it helps.

I think it does not matter in which NIT you are studying, what matters is that the branch that you have taken is of your interest, as when you get job, you will perform better when it is of your interest. One should not care about the package but care about his or her interest.

These are two different topics and you want to know how they faire from two different institutes that too one is NIT and other is IIT. There is a general perception that the academic and the placements are better in IIT as compared with NIT. This may be true definitely about placements because only selected lot who clear JEE Mains are allowed to apply for JEE advanced and from here to only limited students can actually get admitted in one of the IIT. To come back to your question MTech in thermals. I feel that in this subject there is a lot of school for doing research and obviously this is going to remain with us since the need for energy is perpetual. On the other hand mechanical design is also a subject which can see very many developments in future since designs undergo lot of changes based on the usage and feedback by the users. This subject too has great potential for future employment. In view of the foregoing I feel that if you are getting admission in either of the courses you should take it and of course you should give preference to IIT over NIT.
Best wishes to you.
