It is value for money and easy-going.
Placements: Officially, there are 0 percent placements from the college side. Few students do get placed through their own ability and off-campus efforts, and that percentage is also very low. Hence, we have to be self-dependent here in this region, although management might make certain efforts.
Infrastructure: Talking about infrastructure, the university offers MHRD Wi-Fi (which often creates some hurdles), but it is a decent one to go with. There is a separate computer lab as well. We have a law library there with comfortable seats, a peaceful environment, and books on almost every relevant subject.
Faculty: Some teachers are really helpful. Almost all of them are well-qualified (especially the latest appointments). When it comes to knowledge, I would say it is subjective and depends upon an individual's perception. The course curriculum is vast. It covers almost every prominent law subject so that one may pursue their career in any of them.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2027

No placements but qualified teachers and good hands-on practice to get placed.
Placements: If I talk about placements, there are no placements as such in this field. You have to be perfect in terms of lab work and equipment to get project work in labs, like ICMR, DRDO, etc. Most students pursue Ph.D. after M.Sc. If I talk about roles, you will be a biotechnologist and can discover drugs, vaccines, etc.
Infrastructure: Recently, in 2025, the Biotechnology department is assigned a new building with the best laboratory facilities, Wi-Fi, smart class, and a personal library for the department. If I talk about the hostel, it is quite old, but almost all sorts of facilities are available, like geysers, medical doctors, etc. There is a basketball court and volleyball court also, and students play cricket quite often on weekends.
Faculty: Teachers here are quite helpful and highly qualified. Our Cell Bio teacher has done a postdoc from the University of Texas, USA. The course curriculum is quite relevant to enter the biotech industry. Semester exams are not much difficult, it is quite relevant, but scoring marks is tough and checking is strict.
Other: Because it is quite relevant to my interest and to enter the research field. The university holds a Gour Mahavatsa every year in the name of Hari Singh, who led the foundation of the university.

The campus has beautiful surroundings, perfect for learning.
Placements: In my course, around 60 students are enrolled in the B.Sc. B.Ed. program. We are not offered salary packages. Our internship, which lasts for two months. It is conducted by the department itself. However, we do not get paid during it. All students get internships, but there is no job guarantee.
Infrastructure: We are provided with Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and a library. They are not very updated as per current demands. Hostel facilities are below average, with poor hygiene in food and water facilities. No canteen is present on the hostel campus, and the hostel building is weak.
Faculty: The quality of teachers is fine, but only a few are motivated to teach with dedication. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are designed keeping students’ level in mind. I don’t know the exact pass percentage, but it is around 40 percent.
Other: I opt this course to become a dedicated, honest, and friendly teacher. I would love it if more care. Their importance were given to improving infrastructure and supporting teachers’ work.

Study with nature in a calm place like Dr. Harisingh Gour University.
Placements: 80 to 90 percent of students get placed in the judiciary, corporate, and Litigation. The university is very well known for its law course because of its placement and environment. The highest package it got is 39 LPA in the corporate sector for one of our alumni. Thus, it is a very well known university for its placement in the judiciary. We have our alumni in various high courts of India, as well as in the Supreme Court of India.
Infrastructure: We have different classrooms for each B.A. LL.B. LL.B. L.M. course. There is also a separate library in our department only for law students, where you can find any books of your subject from 1st sem to 10th sem, plus there are also journals. There is also a moot court hall in our department.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, almost all of them having 10 to 15 + years of experience in the law. They are also very helpful if you want to participate in different competitions inside or outside the campus. The course curriculum is relevant as per the NLU syllabus. The semester exams are medium, and almost every student can clear them if they study well.
Other: This course has vast career options like judiciary, Litigation, corporate, UPSC, and teaching etc. There are various fest also organised by our department, like ethnic day, teachers day, moot court competition, and many more.

Good infrastructure, good faculty members with good teaching experience.
Placements: Placement rate is not so high, but still better than that of other colleges. The highest package is around 10 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average is around 4 LPA. Good internship rate, tie up with major companies like Google Cloud and Amazon for the internship programme.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, proper labs are there, and proper classes. Food is average, but the overall facilities are good.
Faculty: The teachers are very good, they're highly qualified, have great knowledge, and are always ready to help. The course curriculum is relevant, proper knowledge of subjects is provided, and the teaching is good enough to make students ready for the industry. Exams are not so difficult, it's easy if you attend regular classes and just revise your lessons properly. The passing rate is very high. Teachers give the best Knowledge.

Faculty members are good. Value for money in law.
Placements: No students from my batch have been placed, and from the last five years’ record, no students from the Department of Law have been placed. Our course is judicial and academically oriented, not on a corporate basis. For internships, the students need to make their own efforts.
Infrastructure: The building for the department is very old, so parts of it are getting broken. The building is not good as it is totally based on old structures. Our Moot Court Hall and Law Library building are good, but there is no water cooler in the Law Library and Moot Court Hall. We have a Wi-Fi connection in the department as well as in the library. We have 6 to 7 classrooms and one computer lab, but it’s not in operation. We have a good hostel, but there is water scarcity, and the cleanliness in the washrooms is not good because they do not use phenyl.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Whenever we have any doubt, even at night, they clear our doubts. The majority of teachers are well qualified, but there are always some exceptions, so some are not good. The curriculum makes the students ready for judiciary exams and academics like NET/JRF.
Other: I chose law because I want to become a good lawyer and help society by getting justice for people at a lower cost in the High Court and Supreme Court. Some of my friends are preparing for CLAT PG, CS, Judiciary, NET, etc.
