Best college with great support.
Placements: 80-85% of students get placed. The rest are still going through the placement process. The placement rate of this college is very good. The best placements are in B.Tech and BBA. Google, Nestlé, Swiggy, Zomato, and Microsoft are top recruiting companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are air-conditioned. The college has a very beautiful environment. A library is also available. Patrivartan Ground is there for events. Mostly, singers come to this college. Many top Punjabi singers come to this college. The environment of this college is very good.
Faculty: Teachers are fully qualified. They have good teaching skills. All teachers are experienced, but attendance is mandatory for every student. The semester exams for BBA are very easy. BBA is very simple and can be cleared by everyone, but B.Tech exams are very difficult.
Other: I chose it because I want to pursue a career in marketing field. The placement of BBA should be improved. Events are great. The college is the best. I rate it 10/10.

Be serious during the semester, avoid the wrong friend circle, and do hard work
Placements: 30-35 percent of students got placed in the last session. The highest package is 1.14 LPA but it is an off-campus placement. The top 5 students got packages like 40 LPA, 28 LPA, 12 LPA, and 17 LPA. The rest of them landed packages around 4 LPA- 7 LPA. IBM, Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, and Adobe. 10 percent of students got internship from my course. Top roles offered are Associate, Software Developer, and Full Stack Developer.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided only in labs. Only in the first year you get AC in the lecture hall, then you will be shifted to non-AC floors. All labs are equipped with AC. The library is quite impressive if you want to prepare for GATE and CDS-like examinations, all the resources are available. Along with that, all the books that are required during the whole Semester will be available easily at no cost. Talking about hostel, there are 4 boys' hostels and 1 girls' hostel (Really too big). I will recommend the Shantikunj two-seater room.
Faculty: In the first year, teachers are really helpful. They provide you with all the necessary resources but from the second year you will not get all the resources like notes from teachers, you have to arrange them yourself. Don't expect that professors will come and teach you wholeheartedly. If you are really serious, then you will score quite well, but if you are not, you will end up scoring 5-6 CGPA or below. If you start to study even one week before, you will get enough idea to score 7-8 CGPA easily.
Other: Flexibility as the college will provide you with enough opportunities like regular hackathons, events, and platforms, and different clubs on campus which will really help you if you are serious about placements. I think there must be a good management system like if one student is too active, then only they get more exposure, like they handle club, they are a coordinator, or they are in sports. There is no push from professors or mentors that they will say yoy to join this, or you have to choose a good friend circle for yourself and actively participate in activities.

My time is going well in college.
Placements: The average placement rate is 75 to 90 percent across batches. The average salary package ranges between 4.4 LPA and 5 LPA, and top offers reach up to 12.5 LPA to 15 LPA. Major companies that come include TCS, Wipro, Reliance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Hero Cycle, etc.
Infrastructure: Approximately a 6-acre campus on Chandigarh Road features smart classrooms, seminar halls, and a central library. The infrastructure is good and also provides separate hostels for boys and girls, a hygienic cafeteria, and dedicated sports space for cricket, football, etc.
Faculty: My college has a mix of local Punjab students and foreigners from Nigeria. Faculty members are helpful and understanding. They really help with career building.
Other: Campus life is interactive and supportive, enriched by frequent industrial visits, cultural festivals, and sports events.

Disappointed with college culture, events, and campus life. You can consider it as a last option.
Placements: DA, Developer, and similar roles are offered majorly. Placements are decent but very limited. You can think of it as mass hiring companies, local startups, or local firms. An average package of up to 6 LPA can be expected. Only 2 or 3 students can expect packages up to 11–12 LPA in a batch size of 300 students.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is decent, given the low fee structure of the college. But if you compare it to some big private universities, you cannot expect more. It mainly has hostels and classrooms. There is actually no place to hang out or spend time. There is no infrastructure for sports or gyms.
Faculty: In this college, a batch system similar to coaching classes like Super 60. Two or three teachers are decent in these batches, but other than that, you cannot expect experienced faculty members. The curriculum is kind of outdated. It is an affiliated college, so the syllabus and exam structure are decided by IKGPTU Jalandhar. Personally, I think they have one of the worst systems for exams.
Other: There is not much campus life compared to old reputed universities. There is no culture of societies or clubs. They also have a community-like thing called Unique U. You can join that community if you want, but it has its own benefits and losses. They claim it provides a corporate culture, but it is not completely true. Inside, you can lose your social access in college. There are other restrictions as well. However, there are some benefits, such as escaping academics because there are no classes in this community.

Overall, a good experience.
Placements: If we talk about placements and recruitment, some companies do visit and take some students, but the rate is not so high. It is average. If you prepare well for the interviews, you can get a placement somewhere. But the placement package is very average.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are okay. Wi-Fi is available in all places. But the infrastructure is not so impressive, as the college is very old. Many places have not been renovated. No good canteen exists (there are 3 canteens, but the food we get is not impressive). A 400m ground is available, and there is also a gym. Hostels are not so impressive. Buildings and rooms look old, except for one hostel for first-year boys.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and teach well. The curriculum, as we know, is not decided by the college itself, so that is not a problem. The semester exams are not so tough. They are average-hard, and you can easily pass well if you study only a few days before the examination.

Supportive faculty, good infrastructure, and decent placement opportunities.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students from the IT course get placed every year. The average package is around 5-7 LPA, while higher packages go much higher. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, EPAM, and Cognizant. Roles include software developer, data analyst, and QA engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with modern classrooms, computer labs, and a library. Our campus is Wi-Fi-enabled. We also have medical facilities and a sports ground. Extra-curricular activities make the campus environment comfortable and student-friendly. The hostel is clean and secure.
Faculty: Faculty members are qualified and helpful. They are supportive. The curriculum covers important IT subjects and provides practical exposure through labs and projects. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, and students who attend classes regularly and prepare well can score good marks.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in technology and software development. The college organises technical events, workshops, and cultural fests that help students improve their skills.
