Q:   What is the seat intake for B.Pharm at IKGPTU?
A:

There are over 2000 seats for the BPharm course at the IK Gujral Punjab Technical University. The seat allotment procedure at the university is based on merit in the qualifying examination. Also, the seat count varies from one college to another. The CT Group of Institutions has the highest number of seat intake, i.e., 210. It must also be noted that the mentioned seat intake is as per the official website/sanctioning body. It is subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

Q:   Which are the PGs and hostels available close to I.K Gujral Punjab Technical University (PTU)?
A:

There is only PG which is available nearer to this university in which the college staffs stays, it is not for girls, generally most of students stay in the college hostel because it has very less hostel fee. Also in kapurthala which is nearly 4-5kms from the university, there are two-three PGs available which is better to stay. But no one from our college lives there, if some one don't want to stay in hostel either they are local or they take a flat/apartment.

Disappointed with college culture, events, and campus life. You can consider it as a last option.

Faculty: In this college, a batch system similar to coaching classes like Super 60. Two or three teachers are decent in these batches, but other than that, you cannot expect experienced faculty members. The curriculum is kind of outdated. It is an affiliated college, so the syllabus and exam structure are decided by IKGPTU Jalandhar. Personally, I think they have one of the worst systems for exams.

Overall, a good experience.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and teach well. The curriculum, as we know, is not decided by the college itself, so that is not a problem. The semester exams are not so tough. They are average-hard, and you can easily pass well if you study only a few days before the examination.

Decent college with good faculty and a positive learning environment.

Faculty: The exams are pretty moderate, which one can easily clear by putting in moderate effort. Most of the topics in the exams usually come from the lectures. Courses here are somewhat relevant, and one may need to put in effort on their own to become industry-ready.

Infrastructure is good but can be better. Need for more practical exposure and knowledge.

Faculty: Teachers are really good and helpful. They help us not only in studies but also in life, goal, path, career, and how to reach there. Students are still not ready for the industry after the course completion. Exams are good but mostly tough. Pass percentage is 90-100 percent.

Summary of the college PCTE.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. Every year they take us on an industrial visit to broaden our knowledge further. Teachers are very polite and speak in a well-mannered way. No bias is present. If anyone has any doubt they can even message the teacher to know.

Faculty: Teachers of this college are very helpful and qualified. If you want to focus only on studies, then this is a good college. No other extracurricular activities are held regularly in the college. Most teachers have completed M. Pharm. Their teaching style is very effective.

A value-for-money college for interested students in Ludhiana.

Faculty: Faculty members here are polite. They are helpful, quite knowledgeable, and qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Their teaching quality is decent. The course curriculum is based on PTU and is very relevant to students. They provide hands-on practical training after each year, which is useful. The semester exams are quite challenging after the first year. The passing criteria are 24 out of 60 in ESE and 16 out of 40 in practicals.
