PART-I) The eligibility conditions for admission to B.Ed.(2-year) Course through Distance Mode will be as under: - (i) Bachelor/Masters degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate (47.5% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) OR 55% in case of BE/B.Tech (52.25% in case of SC/ST/Blind/Physically Handicapped candidates) as per directions of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. (ii) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education. (iii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode. (iv) The reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD and other categories shall be as per the rules of Haryana Govt. (v) Only in-service teachers working in any Recognized Government/Aided/Private School/Educational Institution is eligible. NOTE: (i) The Teaching Experience Certificate will be accepted only on the prescribed proforma given at Annexure- XIII in the Prospectus. In case a candidate has served in more than one Institution (with/without break), he/she should use the photocopy of this proforma for submitting the teaching experience certificates for each institution of service. (ii) The candidates seeking admission in B.Ed. 1st Year should ensure to submit proof of Teaching Experience in a school/other educational institution duly certified by Headmaster/Principal on the prescribed format as per Annexure-XIII. (iii) There will be no rounding off the percentage of marks for determining the eligibility for admission to B.Ed. course. (iv) Admission dues to be paid only after confirmation of admission and on demand from the Directorate after finalization of the merit list for admission to B.Ed. Part-1st. Kurukshetra University review.

Placements: The placement in our course was extremely low. The jobs in our course were only government jobs, professors, and teachers. Some non-vocational jobs also include Telecaller and BPO. Approximately 20 percent of students got internship offers. Top roles were offices.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for our course were good. Wi-Fi facility was available. The library was well stocked with a huge collection of books. Modern classroom and computer labs. Basic medical facilities were available. The sports and games ground was present.

Faculty: The teacher was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They don't teach us to explain concepts, but for a salary. The course curriculum was relevant to literature, but it doesn't have a job option in the course other than educational. The semester examination was at a moderate level.

Placements: Placements are very good. Almost 90 percent of students got placed. Some students also get off-campus placement offers. The average package offered for the B.Tech is 9 LPA. We are participating in many hackathons and different coding competitions. We are provided with many industry-expert sessions and expert lectures with full support from teachers.

Infrastructure: I am from the B.Tech CSE course. The most pressing issue is the consistent and low-bandwidth hostel Wi-Fi, which sometimes severely impacts necessary searches. Facilities are clean, and the routine maintenance response time is fast. Common areas are good for socializing, and there are quiet zones or a study room within the hostel. The class can accommodate almost 35-40 students.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-qualified. Most of the teachers are from NIT and top colleges. There are regular doubt sessions, and the course curriculum is updated. Even though extra classes are arranged for extra sessions. There are so many free training sessions for more skillsets like Power BI, Python, DSA, etc. Here, we focus on modern tools. The course curriculum is based on modern industry needs with modern DevOps practices. We can easily interact with teachers.

Other: After passing my class 12th, I was very confused about which college to choose, and then I chose Geeta University, which turned out to be a turning point in my life. The college environment is very good. The campus culture is generally collaborative but competitive. There is a high level of involvement in clubs, Greek life, and intramural activities. I suggest there could be more companies for internships, through which we get the vast industry experience.

Placements: In my course M.Com, almost 30-35 percent of students are placed. The highest package is around 5-9 LPA, and the lowest package is 2-5 LPA, with an average package of around 1-4 LPA. Companies include Kotak, Canara Bank, Union Bank of India, etc. Around 50-65 percent of students got internships just after completing their course. Top roles offered are banker, tax consultant, CA accountant, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has well-maintained classrooms, 24/7 CCTV cameras, a large collection of books in the library, fresh drinking water, separate parks for boys and girls, and very good canteen with fresh food. Free Wi-Fi is available for all students, and working computers are available in the internet zone attached to the library.

Faculty: Some teachers are very rude and just come to class to complete their syllabus; they don’t focus on students’ knowledge. But some teachers are very good and focus on students’ knowledge. In our class, Pooja Mam is very good, friendly, and her teaching technique is excellent. The college makes students industry-ready and provides internships in the last year of the college.
