Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 by the Late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Initially known as the Sanskrit University, KUK has been accredited with an 'A++' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). History of the Kurukshetra University:

The facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, well-furnished rooms and spacious classrooms, and full-time internet connectivity.
