    Hello! Sharon Rajan, no open university can offer any professional course including Engineering via distance education mode. As you are diploma holder and also working, I would like to advise you to go in for AMIE, in all respects, this is equivalent to graduation in engineering. Best wishes to you.

    Doing B.Tech/ B.E. through distance mode is not valid as per UGC guidelines. So never be pursue. AMIE, B.Tech lateral and part time regular are the best available options. Further Karnataka State Open University - Sunshine Academy For Learning, Bangalore is not offering distance B.Tech courses

    Yes, you can correspondence after doing your Diploma in ECE. The correspondence is called as AMIE. The eligibility of AMIE is that you should have a diploma with a minimum aggregate of 45%.     I have done my Diploma in electrical from KSOU. Can I apply for B.Tech in electrical engineering?
