Food Technology: Eligibility Criteria

Students can opt to pursue a degree, diploma or doctorate programme in food technology at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

To pursue the course at undergraduate level, candidates should clear Class 12th in Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Home Science and minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by a university/ college (usually 50% - 60%).

What I mean is that this the test that has been prescribed by the state in which you live. If you are in Maharashtra then you need to clear MHT CET. For admissions in engineering courses in this area in NIT's or IIT's and centrally funded institutes you need to clear JEE Mains and advanced. In addition to this if you are interested in seeking admission in deemed to be universities who have Pan India presence you need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by this universities also.
