No, students cannot get direct admission to Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. Admissions for the majority of courses are entrance-based. The final selection is based on scores in KCET, PGCET, COMEDK UGET, etc. Management quota admissions are also entrance-based.

The application fee of most of the UG and PG programmes is INR 1,000. Candidates need to pay the ppplication before submitting the application form. Candidates also need to fill the application form of required entrance exam as prescribed by the university for admission into certain courses.

The Jain Deemed-to-be University, Faculty of Engineering and Technology offers BTech programme with the duration of four years. The course is divided in eight equal semesters.
