M.Sc. in Physics - Batch of 2026

Satisfied with the college.
Placements: Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), Dwarka, provides a solid foundation in Physics through its master's programme. While core physics placements are limited, students have secured roles in organizations like TCS Research, DRDO labs, and edtech companies. Some also pursue research internships at ISRO or continue with Ph.D. programs in India or abroad. The MPhys course is valuable for those aiming for academic, research, or interdisciplinary careers. However, direct industry placements are fewer compared to engineering streams. Top recruiters at NSUT include Google, Amazon, and Deloitte, though mostly for technical roles outside Physics.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NSUT is excellent. All classrooms, libraries, and labs are fully air-conditioned, providing a comfortable learning environment. The canteen also has AC facilities, making it a great spot for students to relax. Hostels are well-maintained with modern amenities, clean surroundings, and good security. Overall, the campus is spacious, green, and well-equipped, making student life comfortable and enjoyable.
Faculty: Teachers at NSUT are highly qualified and experienced, with many holding degrees from prestigious institutes like IITs and pursuing or having completed PhDs from reputed universities. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and dedicated to ensuring students gain a deep understanding of the subject. The university maintains strict academic discipline, especially regarding examinations. Semester exams are conducted regularly and fairly, with a strong focus on maintaining academic integrity. The structured curriculum, combined with the faculty's expertise, creates a rigorous and enriching learning environment that helps students grow both academically and professionally.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2028
4.4

It has an outstanding campus life, but needs improvement in the faculty section.
Placements: About 46% of students got placements from our branch. The highest package is 48 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. The average package offered ranges between 16-20 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Microsoft, Google, Texas Instruments, Amazon, etc. Roughly 76% of students got internships in the same companies as mentioned above.
Infrastructure: NSUT holds one of the best infrastructures I've ever seen. It has a separate block for different branches, well-maintained labs, classrooms with decent Wi-Fi connectivity, and a well-stocked library. Hostels are pretty good with a proper mess and canteen. Medical support and different sports grounds are also available for students.
Faculty: I'd say most of the teachers are fully qualified for their position of teaching. They are helpful and knowledgeable, with good teaching quality. The course curriculum is absolutely relevant. Students can participate in different extracurricular activities to enhance their skills to be industry-ready. We can easily pass exams by studying 2 weeks before exams. Last year, the pass percentage was around 87%.
Other: I chose this course because it's a core branch that opens different types of job opportunities in the future. I would wish the faculty members to improve themselves a little bit, although it's good, but can be even better. NSUT hosts one of the biggest fests among universities, like Moksha, and it offers different types of scholarships to students.

Not satisfied with placements, administration, and infrastructure. But teachers are good.
Placements: Placements in the recession are very hard, also it has been a problematic issue to clear the CG criteria, as teachers grading system is also hard. Plus discrimination is there between the main campus and East campus when Japanese companies visit the campus for internships, only main campus CSE is allowed. The highest package is 62 LPA. The average salary is 16 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.2 LPA. For all three campuses combined, almost 70-80% of students got placed. SDE job is offered. Recruiting companies that visit our campus are Google, Silicon, Go Daddy, Times Internet, Brain and Company, and Make My Trip. We are the main requires that hiring most.
Infrastructure: Labs and computer facilities are pretty good, with the equipped library on every floor, it's clean too. Wi-Fi range is good in some areas but considering the whole campus, it's not good. Hostel have not been started yet, maybe in 2025 August for girls hostels will be available. For boys will not be available for atleast 4 years. Dispensary is also there on campus. Sports facilities are also average. Canteen is also average.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Most of them are chill towards attendance criteria. If you have 60-65% attendance, they will increase it to 75%. But some teachers create problems. Curriculum is relevant and it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are also good, not that difficult but some teacher's grading is strict. Passing percentage is around 80%.
Other: Fests and activities are not held in this college.

Superb campus life but needs improvement in the faculty section.

B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.8

The college is very strict about attendance.
Placements: There are actually a lot of students in my batch. Around 200 including both sections in mechanical engineering. Now, there are many options and the college does have awesome placements but programming is necessary for most companies and IT companies. Top companies include Paytm, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The placements have been on the downside for a little while, but they will get better. Not a lot of students get good internships.
Infrastructure: The activities are actually pretty good. The campus is green and huge. There's a really good athletic ground. There are 2 basketball courts and a cricket ground. The library is big and properly air-conditioned. The hostel is also really good (washrooms too).
Faculty: The teaching is actually very good. Teachers are highly qualified. It is important to participate in lab work though. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Not too easy but it's fine. Attendance is a huge issue in the college, they are very strict about it. I would not say that the college makes the students industry-ready. The checking of exams is moderate.
Other: I chose the course because coding is just not my forte. College fest is extraordinary. There is no scholarship but there are certain incentives. Campus is big, green, and neat.

The college is good for a campus life but as for the other aspects, it's pretty bad.
Placements: The college brings placements that is one thing for sure but the quality of the companies and the packages is something I feel is lacking and left behind. We were provided with a lot of internships but the companies were so bad half of them looked like cam centers or cover-ups for something.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the course is average. We are being taught about all the theories and the topics that somebody needs in their day-to-day life and I am a regular student who lives in the city so I don't have any idea about the hostels. All I've heard is they are pretty good and overall the experience has been good only.
Faculty: The faculty is a mixture of good and bad, some of the teachers are very supportive and friendly whereas the others are very strict and egoistic. Some teachers don't even consider their students as human. As far as exams are quite easy.
