JEE Main 2027 Exam Date: The National Testing Agency has released the dates for the JEE Mains exam 2027 session 1 & 2. As per the official notification of JEE Main 2027, Session 1 exam will be held on January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2027. For Session 2, the exam dates are April 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, 2027.

JEE Main 2027 Exam Date Session 1 Schedule
The candidates will be allotted their exact exam date and shift (shift 1 or shift 2) via the JEE Mains 2027 admit card before the exam. Also, NTA will communicate the allotted exam date and city via the JEE Main city intimation slip.

JEE Main 2027 Session 1 Exam Date with Shift Details
JEE Main 2027 Session 1 exam dates are January 20, 21, 22, 23, 24 and 28, 2027. Students who are not satisfied with their Session 1 performance can use the second session to improve their percentile.
NTA will announce the exact date, shift, and paper-wise schedule. Candidates should also remember that JEE Main is conducted over multiple days and shifts. Therefore, the date on which one candidate appears may be different from that of another.

JEE Main 2027 Session 2 will be held on April 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7, 2027. The second session is important for candidates who want another opportunity to improve their performance. JEE Main 2027 Paper 1 Exam Date (Session 1 and Session 2)
The JEE Main 2027 Paper 1 is intended for BE/BTech students. This exam is typically conducted over multiple days. The exact dates for the Paper 1 exam will be announced soon through an official notification from the NTA.
JEE Mains 2027 Paper 2 Exam Date (Session 1 and Session 2)
Unlike the Paper 1 exam, the NTA conducts the Paper 2 exam on a single day and in one shift, depending on the number of applicants for each Paper 2. The specific date for the Paper 2 exam will be announced soon through an official notification. Paper 2a is designated for BArch candidates, while Paper 2b is intended for BPlan students.

JEE Main exam is in two shifts each day. First shift is from 9 am to 12 noon and second shift is from 3 pm to 5 pm. Exam is conducted over a period of 5-6 days. In total JEE Main has 10-12 shifts per session. Each session has different question paper set. The exam is for 3 hours.
National Testing Agency conducts JEE Main exam in a total of 13 languages. The languages in which paper is conducted are Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu in addition to Hindi English and Gujarati. Students can select the language of their choice from the available options while filling the application form. The language of JEE Main question paper during the exam will be available in 3 languages- English Hindi and the language selected by the candidates. The language of paper can be switched among these 3 languages during the exam.
How to Check JEE Main 2027 Exam Date?
NTA allots the exam date to the candidates via the JEE Main admit card. The admit card will be issued on January 13 (Session 1) and March 25 (Session 2).
Once the admit card is issued, candidates are notified via the official website. Students can then login and download the hall ticket to check the allotted exam date.

When Will JEE Main 2027 Registration Start?
Session 1: JEE Main 2027 registration for Session 1 has started. Candidates will have to complete the application process online through the official JEE Main website - jeemain.nta.nic.in. The registration window will remain open until November 22, 2026. However, with additional late fee, the form can be submitted until November 26, 2026. Students should not wait until the last day to fill out the form. The application process involves entering personal and academic details, uploading documents and photographs, selecting examination cities and paying the application fee.
Session 2: NTA will open a separate application window for Session 2 from January 5 to February 3. Candidates should carefully check all details before submitting the JEE Main application form, particularly their name, date of birth, category, contact information and academic details. Candidates who applied for Session 1 can also appear for Session 2 by filling out the form.
