Placements: Last year placement was very low like only 33 percent of students were placed in Electrical Engineering. The highest package was about 60 LPA. Majority of tech, non-tech, and core companies recruited from the Electrical Engineering batch like Apple, Google, Texas Instruments, and some psu like BPCL too. The majority of them got software development Engineer roles, and some got graduate engineer roles.
Placements: If I talk about the placement from my branch last year, it was around 35 percent which is quite low for a core branch. The highest package is about 50 LPA. The lowest is around 6 LPA. The average varies between 15 LPA-20 LPA. Various well-reputed companies like Amazon, Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Google, and many more come for recruitment. Roughly 60-70 percent of students get an internship, as there's a cut-off margin for it.
Placements: Only 2 students got placed through the college placement process. Most of the companies made students eligible but never selected them for further rounds, even when their CGPA was above 7.5. The branch was Civil, but the first batch of NSUT students made it part of the IT department. However, this did not help the placement scenario of Geoinformation Technology. Placements: I am in the ECAM branch, with a strength of 150–160 students. The placement percentage is 67.23% this year.
