Q:   Can I get into VIPS with a rank of 3044 (inside Delhi) for BBA?

A:

It is difficult to say for sure whether you will be able to get into VIPS with a rank of 3044 (inside Delhi) for BBA. The cutoff for VIPS BBA varies every year, depending on the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the entrance exam, and other factors. In 2021, the closing rank for BBA at VIPS for the general category (inside Delhi) was 391. So, if the cutoff remains similar this year, you may have a chance of getting admission. However, it is also possible that the cutoff will be higher, in which case you may not be able to get in.

Here are some factors that could affect the cutoff for VIPS BBA in 2023:

The number of applicants: If there are more applicants this year than last year, the cutoff is likely to be higher.

The difficulty level of the entrance exam: If the entrance exam is more difficult this year than last year, the cutoff is likely to be lower.

The performance of other colleges: If other colleges in Delhi have higher cutoffs for BBA, VIPS may also have a higher cutoff to attract students.

The best way to know for sure whether you will be able to get into VIPS with a rank of 3044 (inside Delhi) for BBA is to wait for the cutoff to be released. You can check the cutoff on the website of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) once it is released.

Q:   What is the lowest rank to get into DTU?

A:

The lowest or least competitive rank to get into DTU (Delhi Technological University) varies depending on the course and the category of the candidate. For instance, as per DTU JEE Main cutoff 2024, the lowest rank was 17367 for BTech in Biotechnology for General Category candidates. However, ranks for other categories may be different.

DTU cutoff ranks for different courses and categories may vary every year based on various factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of applicants, and reservation policies.

A brief about DTU life and campus.
Placements: Over 82% of students were placed last year. The software branch is very much an application-based branch, ranging from basic learning to learning industrial-level things. It's syllabus is very modern, including all the latest and most important parts of one's job that they may require in their companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent, ranging from AC to heartier-fitted buildings. Renovation is a continuous thing here. Many new buildings with modern amenities have been built here, while there are still some old buildings as DTU's legacy, as they are themselves very old. Food in the canteen is okay, but there are various other spots on campus, including Dominos and a chill point.
Faculty: Faculty members are pretty average; they do have knowledge but at the end, you have to study yourself for better. Exams are not that hard to score a 9; you just need to study 20 days before the exam starts for good grades, as the syllabus in the exam is not that hard to complete but a bit of laziness may cost a lot during exam times.
Other: DTU is very rich in every sort of skill. One can learn anything by joining respective societies and may excel at any dream they want. One must show dedication and, should they get lost in the huge crowd that DTU takes, find their own path to create their future here.

For those who don't make it to DTU, DTU is more than or like IITs.
Placements: Environment engineering is a specialized field that focuses on the application of scientific and engineering principles to protect and reserve the environment. In our branch, most companies that visit our campus are non-technical companies like Deloitte.
Infrastructure: Delhi Technological University has one of the biggest campuses in Delhi, with many food and beverage stalls, wide and big sports grounds and open green space to hang out with your friends. DTU gives life to their students as well as faculty, and I think it's the best college.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are a big drawback in this college. The professors are least qualified and don't have knowledge to teach. It is a great place to study with its vast collection and quiet rooms. The campus is also very green, with plenty of places to relax. Academically, my college is demanding but offers a well-rounded education. The professors are knowledgeable.
Other: Overall, according to me, DTU gives a chill life to their students as well as faculty. In my opinion, it's the best college in Delhi .

Good decision to be a part of college.
Placements: Placements in DTU are fine! One can expect a good job in a great mnc company if he has good skills. In mathematics and computing branch 90 percent of students are placed last year with an average package of 15 Lacs per annum all big mnc companies came.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and campus of DTU is great but mess and hostel are not too good. Rent of hostel is quite high compared to other government colleges. Decent facilities are provided by the college like Wi-Fi, canteen, sports court etc. There is a big room for improvement required.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are a big drawback in this college. The professors are least qualified and don't have knowledge to teach. Semester exams are easy and some days of study before exams can get u good grades. -no, it does not make u industry ready.

DTU - A college to make your dreams into reality.
Placements: In the recent placement states, a very less students were actually placed may be due to recession. Out of 120 batch of Engineering Physics students, only 40%of them were placed with good package. The highest package offered was about 24 Lacs per annum while the lowest was about 3 Lacs and the median was about 8 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft, Apple, etc. Nearly 10 students got on campus internships. Top roles offered were Full-Sack developed, Cyber Security Researcher and some Data Analyst roles as well.
Infrastructure: Department infrastructure is keep on developing as the time goes on. Wi-Fi is working. Classroom have ACs, good furniture as well as good amount of space. Library is well maintained. There are enough no. Of books kept there for curriculum as well as for learning purpose. Discipline is quite maintained. Hostel on the other hand has very poor food quality services. Medical qualities are average. Sports and games facilities are good though as compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers are very good. There are very experienced professors with high quality teaching experience. Course curriculum is very good and updated. Its very interesting to study. It may make students industry ready. Semester exams are quite tough with no leniency shown. Results are based on the relatively performance of your class. But still you have to get good marks to pass in exams.
Other: Physics is like my child interest. I like to analyse things and ask questions why, what, how and Physics helps them to answers. So yes getting this course really excites me. Engineering Physics has very Interesting topics like Quantum Physics Creativity, Optics etc. Which are very interesting. There can be emmission of some courses like Microprocessors and Interacting which is very outdated nowdays. Events, fests, crowd can be nowhere better than DTU. It has literally the best college life.

Placements: The college provides the best placements in comparison to other colleges in the NCR. The average package in our course is 6 LPA, and the highest was 25 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Hyundai, Ford, and Cummins. Internships are provided by the college according to the skills and interests of students.
Infrastructure: The campus is large, and all facilities are available here. Classes are fully ventilated, and Wi-Fi facilities are available all the time for students and faculty members. The food is good and the price is also reasonable. Hostels are well maintained. Canteens and grocery stores are available on campus.
Faculty: All teachers are very good in our course, and the curriculum of the course is well designed. Teachers are Ph.D. in their subjects, and their teaching methodology is unique. Exams can be passed easily by studying before exams. The overall teaching quality of our course is good.
