Reality of a top Government College, NSUT West Campus.
Placements: Only 2 students got placed through the college placement process. Most of the companies made students eligible but never selected them for further rounds, even when their CGPA was above 7.5. The branch was Civil, but the first batch of NSUT students made it part of the IT department. However, this did not help the placement scenario of Geoinformation Technology. Mostly, the companies that came were new startups, and the roles offered were mainly sales positions. The average package was 4 LPA, and the best packages were 8 LPA and 10 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available with good bandwidth. Labs were fully functional, the library was fully air-conditioned, and the classrooms had centralized AC. Smart classes were available for each year. The hostel was near the Dwarka main campus, and there was no separate West Campus hostel. The only problem was that it was located in a village away from Dwarka, taking almost 1 hour to reach from the main campus. There was a good and hygienic canteen for students. Students could play games like cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, and table tennis. All sports equipment was available.
Faculty: Teachers were really amazing in every aspect, whether it was teaching, guiding, internships, or B.Tech projects. The course provided good practical knowledge, with training programs also being scheduled.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to join DRDO. This course allowed me to enter that field. It was also a government college, so I wanted to get an edge over students from private colleges. That is why I chose NSUT West Campus Geoinformation Technology.

Offered by Netaji Subhas University of Technology (East Campus)

This branch stands out in placements with good opportunities.
Placements: I am in the ECAM branch, with a strength of 150–160 students. The placement percentage is 67.23% this year. The lowest package is below 10 LPA, the highest is 30 LPA+, and the average is 14 LPA. There are several companies that come for placements, such as Texas Instruments, NXP Semiconductors, and more for core, and Google, etc. for tech. However, the percentage of people getting internships is lower. Roughly 8–10 out of 150 students get an on-campus paid internship, while the rest are off-campus. Roles like Embedded Engineer, Analog Engineer, and Computer Architecture are offered.
Infrastructure: There is no such thing as a hostel at the East Campus of NSUT, so you have to find PGs nearby. Wi-Fi is not available across the whole campus, only in labs. A few classrooms have smartboards, and a few have normal whiteboards. The library is big, and you can study there in your gaps between lectures. For sports, there is a badminton court, a basketball court, and a football ground.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. However, you have to study by yourself. Being attentive in the lectures is appreciated. The course curriculum is relevant too and makes students industry-ready. While scoring a CG in the CSE branch is easy, it is going to be a little tough in ECE, but the pass percentage is higher than expected. More than 85% of students pass the exams very easily.
Other: There are small events that are arranged in the East Campus, but campus life is much better on the main campus. However, big fests are held on the main campus, so we attend them. It would have been better if we had Wi-Fi around the whole campus. There is not much to be improved in the course, however. The crowd is good. A decent crowd can help you grow much faster. There are societies which are linked to the main campus only, and you are given equal opportunities once you pass their interview round.

Considering NSUT East Campus for placements.
Placements: Placements in our course are decent enough. The placement percentage for the 2026 batch is around 68%, with 67% of male and 76% of female students getting placed. The highest package is 94 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average and median packages are around 16 LPA and 14 LPA, respectively. Top companies visiting include LinkedIn, MongoDB, Microsoft, Atlassian, Google, and more, offering high packages. The internship rate is also decent, but due to the declining trend in the job market this year, it has been affected a lot.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure could be much better on our campus. Wi-Fi doesn't work here. Labs don't have good equipment. Classrooms are okayish, except for the fact that the ACs don't work sometimes. The library can be ranked as average. There is no hostel availability here. We have one canteen where the food is below average. Sports facilities need a lot of improvement as well. We have a dispensary as well, which remains closed sometimes.
Faculty: Apart from a few of them, professors are helpful and guide throughout. The course curriculum is very engaging and relevant as well. However, the practical learning required to make students industry-ready can be improved. Semester exams are manageable with some effort. As the course includes ECE, it makes the courses difficult on the higher side, but it can be managed if you pay close attention. It is generally easy to pass the exams. The pass percentage remains above 90%. Grading also depends on the professor, but the relative grading in many subjects balances this out.
Other: The course is good as it includes both ECE core and technical knowledge. The alumni network is strong due to the college tag. Fests, events, and societies are mainly integrated with the main campus only. Overall, campus life is poor, but students usually sacrifice that for good placement statistics, which are decent here. To make college life more happening, be more active in the main campus events.

I'm well satisfied with NSUT.
Placements: 79.14 percent of students got placed this year 2025-2026. 94 LPA is the highest package offered, 16.27 LPA is the average package, 14.15 LPA is the median package, and 5 LPA is the lowest package offered. Top recruiting companies are LinkedIn, Atlassian, Tower Research, Apple, DE Shaw, MongoDB, Google Silicon, Google, Meesho, External, Microsoft, and Rippling. About details of internships and all no data is available. The top roles offered are oftware developer and designer.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but they need to work more on building new things. We don't have any big auditorium, so that somewhat downgrades its respect. Wi-Fi facility is everywhere inside the campus, even if you're in the bathroom or anywhere. The library is too good and fully air-conditioned. The classrooms and labs are air-conditioned too. Hostel food is something that I worried about because it's not that tasty, it's not even worth it, honestly speaking. Rest, if I talk about the hostel, none of them are air-conditioned except JC Bose. Some girls' hostels are air-conditioned and some are not.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well qualified. Some teachers are from IIT's as well. The overall teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant, but they should also focus on teaching skills that can help us get a good placement. The curriculum is not completely reliable because it is not going to make you industry-ready. Semester exams are too easy to score if you have read something about it, you get proper marks if you have written everything correctly. Also, the teachers are not based as well. The pass percentage is that you must get a CGPA greater than 4.
Other: CSE is the only course that offers good security, it offers good placement and exposure as well. I think the institute should focus more on skill learning rather than just theoretical knowledge, they should train students for placement. Moksha, Resonanz, and Innovision are the three main annual fests. Moksha is the biggest annual fest in North India. The college crowd is too good, everyone is building something that can make them stand out in the crowd.

An Experience: The college life of NSUT.
Placements: A total of 52% of last year's students were placed in our department. The highest salary package offered was 64 LPA. The lowest was 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 22 LPA. Since I am in 2nd year, I don't have any idea about all the companies. They are high chance of getting recruited in PILS like GAIL.
Infrastructure: Classrooms for the freshers are nice with proper ACs. The hostels are also good with single, double, and triple sharing options. But they don't have AC. The quality is also not that good. There have been certain cases of diarrhea due to college water, because of this, they have been cleaning the filter every 2-3 months.
Faculty: The first semester teachers were excellent. In the second semester, apart from 2 or 3 teachers, none were up to the mark. They were proficient but did not focus on students. They only focused on teaching and didn't care if the students were learning. They also didn't explain hard topics in an easy way.
Other: I chose this course because it was the one allotted to me by rank. I wanted to get electrical mech at DTU. The fests at the college are very good and are held throughout the year. But this time, the major fest Moksha wasn't held.

Very good college with an excellent reputation.
Placements: One of the strongest aspects of the college is especially the CSE department. Around 75–80% of students get placed with an average package of around 19–20 LPA, along with the highest packages lying in the range of 1 crore. High-paying companies like Amazon, Adobe, and Oracle frequently come for placements.
Infrastructure: Most classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with smart boards and projectors. Laboratories are well-maintained. However, the mess and hostels are not that good. They are just average but manageable. Sports facilities and opportunities are quite good. There is a separate sports period of 0 credits, which is a very good initiative.
Faculty: The curriculum has been updated over the years and includes subjects that are relevant to the industry. Last year, they also removed specialization in the first year and started providing it later according to CGPA. However, students need to study and cannot get a good score without studying. The evaluation can be strict.
Other: Campus life is definitely good. As this is a tier-1 college, the environment and crowd are also like that. The college is located in Delhi and is surrounded by various places for students. Annual and cultural fests are among the best. Seniors are also helpful, along with a good alumni network.

You cannot get admissions into BTech CSE course at NSUT without JEE Mains scores. Because the JEE Mains scores are necessary for admissions to NSUT undergraduate engineering courses. Thus, one can only enroll in the programme if they have valid scores in the entrance examination.

The accepted entrance exam for admissions into BTech course at NSUT is always JEE Mains. Students need to qualify the eligibility as per the JEE Mains first. Then, they can apply for the UG Engineering course at NSUT. Then, students need to appear for JAC Delhi 2026 Counselling.
