NSUT is one of the best engineering colleges in India.
Placements: Almost 75% of the batches get placed. If I talk about IT, around 80–85% of students get placed. Good companies visit the campus and offer packages ranging from 10 LPA to 70 LPA. Many MNCs and startups visit the campus for internships and placements. If you have a good CGPA and the required skills, you will get good placements.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is very fast, with optical fiber connectivity throughout the campus. The mess and hostels are decent. The classrooms are air-conditioned, and the lecture halls are well equipped. The sports ground is good. The college provides fully funded sports trips across the country. There is a canteen, a Nescafé outlet, and other food outlets on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty is experienced, but it is tough to get a good CGPA here compared to other government colleges. Some professors are really strict. The attendance system is also very rigid. You need 75% attendance to be eligible to sit for the examinations. The courses are up to date and follow the latest curriculum.
Other: The college is directly connected to Dwarka Mor Metro Station. The fests are top class, with Moksha being very famous. Scholarships are provided based on income, category, and academic achievements.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.4
4.0Placements5.0Infrastructure5.0Faculty5.0Crowd & Campus Life3.0Value for Money
Somewhat satisfied because of a good college and campus life.
Placements: If you are someone who is pursuing Electrical Engineering, then you have the option to do jobs in tech, non-tech, and core fields. Last year, that is 2025, the placement was around 45% to 50%, which is low, I know, but the main reason was due to recession, and many students pursued masters after doing their B.Tech in Electrical. Keeping these points in mind, if your main objective is to get placed, you can get placed if you focus on this one thing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of NSUT is very awesome, especially for freshers. They get the APJ complex, a full big-sized room with centralized AC per section. Along with this, the college includes a big playground and a two-floor library with a lot of books. A Student Activity Centre with badminton courts and table tennis equipment, a gym with full equipment, and a big campus also available. Talking about hostels, there are many hostels according to price range, but on average, the food is quite good.
Faculty: In some semesters, you will find good teachers and staff. While in some semesters, you will find stubborn teachers who do not think about anybody except themselves. But if we talk about completing the syllabus and cooperation. Most teachers are cooperative and positive, whether they are cool or strict.

Excellent placements. It requires hard work.
Placements: It's approximately 70-75 percent of the batch placed. The lowest package is 6 LPA, the average package is 15 LPA, and the maximum package is I guess 60 LPA or maybe even more than that. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, and Salesforce. Approximately 5-10 percent of students got internships on campus from the college.
Infrastructure: For the ECE branch, there are separate labs for every subject. But there are a few labs where the equipment is less. Most labs have a good number of equipment. Wi-Fi is really good with a speed of more than 100 MB even after being used by a number of students. Libraries are top-notch.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but not helpful to be honest. The course curriculum is relevant you can say for higher education or even if you are preparing for tech jobs, core, or non-tech jobs. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult for core branches but not that difficult for tech branches.
Other: Events and fests are good. It's not why I chose this it's all about the rank I got in JEE.

Poor infrastructure, the CS branch is easily available.
Placements: As I am a first-year student, my batch is not getting placements, but the 4th-year students have around an 80% placement rate. The average package is around 15 LPA. I am not sure about the highest and lowest packages. Some of the companies I have heard about are Apribklr, Qualcomm, and Amazon. I have no idea about internships. The roles offered include IoT Engineer and SDE.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very poor. There is no Wi-Fi, and even the internet does not work properly. Labs are good. The library is also decent. There is no hostel. The canteen is bad. Sports and games facilities are also poor. There are absolutely no medical services available.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful, but most are not. Most of them are qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is poor for many teachers. The course curriculum is relevant, but includes a few subjects related to the Electrical department in the first year. It helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are of an intermediate level. The pass percentage is usually 43%, including internals.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in Computer Science. The course is good, but the infrastructure is poor. Events are rare, maybe once or twice a year, and even those are not very good. For fests, we go to the main campus. There are almost no extracurricular activities.

Review of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (West Campus).
Placements: Placements are not so good at the NSUT West campus. I'm a first-year B.Tech civil engineering student. In the last year, the average package offered has ranged from 4-5 LPA, and not all the students are placed. I saw one of my seniors who passed out last year got placed with a package of 3.6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that great. Many instruments are not working properly. There are 6-7 theodolites that are used for survey experiments, out of which only 1 works properly. It is the same for other subjects too.
Faculty: Exams are pretty tough. We need 41 marks out of 100 to pass the semester. There are 2 class tests for 10 marks each, 1 mid-semester of 20 marks, 1 end-semester of 50 marks, and the remaining 10 marks of viva and experiments. There is a 75 percent mandatory attendance for all students. Last time, this mandatory attendance was reduced to 60 percent because the number of students who had above 75 percent attendance was very low. Teachers are well-qualified. They teach very well.

Highly competitive peer group, decent faculty, and placements.
Placements: The placement at the Instrumentation and Control Engineering branch at NSUT is quite impressive because students get to sit for both software/IT and non-teaching roles. Around 80-85% of students get placed with an average of 7-8 LPA, and the highest is up to 63 LPA, but getting an internship is quite difficult.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, to be honest. All classes are air-conditioned, and those which are not are getting renovated with all this technology. The same goes for hostels, and the course curriculum is decent, with an adequate amount of labs for practical learning.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, except for some, but there are some faculty members like that in every college, so that works. Apart from that, the curriculum is in line with the course and somewhat includes AI, which is trending now and would be beneficial in the future. Overall, it's good and decent.
Other: Of all the courses I was getting during admission, this was the best among them, and the fests and crowd here are also good. Overall, it leaves a positive impact.

You cannot get admissions into BTech CSE course at NSUT without JEE Mains scores. Because the JEE Mains scores are necessary for admissions to NSUT undergraduate engineering courses. Thus, one can only enroll in the programme if they have valid scores in the entrance examination.
