NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, NSIT ranks #57 under the category 'Engineering'.

Netaji Subhas University of Technology admissions 2026 are open for UG, PG, and PhD courses. Interested candidates can apply for their desired courses through the official website of the university.

The JAC Delhi 2026 counselling registration window for admission to the BTech course will tentatively open in May 2026.
The MAT 2026 Feb session registration is open. For PBT mode, the last date to register is Feb 23, 2026, and the test is scheduled for Mar 1, 2026. Further, for CBT mode, the registration closes on Mar 2, 2026, and the test will be held on Mar 8, 2026.
The UCEED 2026 cutoff marks for Part A for the BDes course will be available on Feb 5, 2026.
CUET 2026 registration process has started for admission to several UG courses. Candidates can fill out the application form until Jan 31, 2026. The CUET exam 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 11, 2026, to May 31, 2026.
The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
The CMAT 2026 exam date for admission to MBA/PGDM/MMS courses is Jan 25, 2026, and the result can be expected in Feb 2026.
The CUET PG 2025 result has been released for admission to PG courses. Candidates who appeared in the exam can view and download their scorecards by using their login details on the official website.
The GATE 2026 exam for admission to ME/MTech/PhD courses will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.

NSUT Highlights 2025

NSUT also known as Netaji Subhas University of Technology is a state-level university. NSIT was established in 1983 and in 2018 the institute was given university status, hence making it a non-affiliating university. Earlier it was affiliated with the University of Delhi. NSUT Delhi is recognised by the UGC and AICTE. NSIT Delhi University ranked 2nd under the TIMES All India Engineering Institutes Ranking Survey 2024.

NSUT Delhi offers undergrdaute, postgraduate, and PhD courses across various streams such as Engineering, Management, Architecture, and others. The flagship courses offered at NSIT are BTech and MBA. Netaji Subhas University Delhi course admissions is based on merit and entrance exam scores. During NSUT placements 2023, the median package is INR 17 LPA and INR 15 LPA, respectively.

It offers nice courses and amazing infrastructure.

Placements: Since I am in the first semester, I heard that this year, out of 160, around 30-35 students got placed. The average package is 18 LPA, and the highest package is 50 LPA. A lot of tech companies offer placements and internships at this college.

Infrastructure: Hostels are clean. Food in the Mess is pretty average. The security guard is there every time, so they are strict with rules and regulations. However, they have structured everything.

Faculty: Faculty members are amazing. Classes are held every day. The subject and topic taught come in the paper, and the paper is all based on the curriculum. There is security, and invigilators are checking strictly. Even though they are on time, and they do not delay things, it is a value for money. The course structure is above average. In semester one, we have a foundation subject, but in the next semester, subjects like CP (computer programming) are provided.

Other: Seniors are amazing, very supportive, cheerful, and friendly. There is no scope for ragging, even though they provide us with the study materials.

I would recommend this college only for the tech branches. For non-tech, one should opt for DTU.

Placements: Last year, around 90 percent of students in my branch got placed. It is a good number. The average package was around 22 LPA, and the highest was 1 crore. It was quite good. Top roles offered for my branch were AI engineer, machine learning engineer, and data scientist.

Infrastructure: The library and computer center are very good. The SAC is usually busy, and there is no indoor badminton or basketball court. The APJ Complex classrooms are good, but the others are just average. The quality of canteen food is above average, but the mess food is only average.

Faculty: Faculty is very knowledgeable, but most students do not pay attention in class. They are very helpful, except for a few, who can be rude and seem not to know anything at all. The semester exams are of medium difficulty and are easy to prepare for.

Other: As I preferred CSAI over non-tech in a Tier 1 NIT, I chose this college. Many might ask why I did not choose DTU. The main reason is that I took my jiju as my mentor. He is also a software developer at Google and recommended NSUT over DTU, so I chose this college. The events and festivals here are very nice. I do not need to elaborate, NSUT’s fests are already quite famous.

Absolutely the best in JAC Delhi.

Placements: Placements are good if you're good enough to maintain a CGPA above 8-8.5 CGPA, and with decent skills, you can expect a job at least, especially if you are from CS to ECE, below ECE it's quite 50-50 you have to grind more that the above branches peeps and usually some company don't allow below ECE or EE.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite good. They've each lab for each course for the practical. Wi-Fi is mostly fast and working in only some of the rooms, there are some issues where they don't have it, but 90 percent of the campus is connected with Wi-Fi. The college canteen is there, and everything is available almost, and they have Amul for dairy and a Nescafé for coffee and more, and even Safal milkshake and Maggi are too good, so you have multiple options inside the campus as well. The library is too big 2 floor no Wi-Fi problem.

Faculty: The curriculum is updated as compared to other government colleges in NIT, and the faculty members are good as well. If you listen to them thoroughly, you will understand what they are telling, and if exams are at a moderate level, you can score above 8 CGPA if you start from 2 weeks before the exam date starts, but you have to perform quite well in labs as well.

The combination of flora and fauna under and education system known as NSUT.

Placements: This university provides an express experience in placement rules. Companies that approach the university for good candidates are, on average site like not well-known companies but not common companies they provide. Average package is around 30 LPA, and the lowest provided is 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: You can find cats and dogs across the street from this university. They have different types of flora also but at some places it's very tense, and the sports facilities are not that great. The ground has very long grass ground maintained only when a competition or any other big event is going to happen.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very relevant to the industry. It makes students industry-ready. This university provides very experienced teachers. They are very knowledgeable about the course. You can ask whatever they know about the course. Semester exams are not that hard. If you concentrate in class, you can score well on the examination.

Review of NSUT Computer Science course.

Placements: Placement percentage for computer science students is around 60 to 70%. There are many recruiters which come to campus. The roles that offered are software engineer, AI engineer, web developer, and software developer, along with some finance and non-tech roles as well. Top recruiters include De Shaw, Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Infosys, TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi available for students in hostels as well as throughout the college campus. There is a common student library which has enough books to meet the students' needs. There is a canteen and some outlets inside the campus. There is great infrastructure for sports including athletics, running track, cricket, football, volleyball, badminton, tennis courts, basketball courts, and table tennis. There is also a gym.

Faculty: Faculty members are very qualified and knowledgeable. The curriculum taught is quite relevant, and makes the students industry-ready. It helps students build skills to be ready to gain experience and apply those skills in the real world. The college exams are not tough, it is easy to pass.

All about Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Delhi.

Placements: Placement is good. Around 70%-80% of the batch got placed. Most of the students of the top branches, like CSE and ECE got placed. Top recruiters are companies like Microsoft, Google, and most tech companies, a lot of core companies also come to recruit students. Median package is around 10 LPA-11 LPA.

Infrastructure: There is great infrastructure and big lecture halls with proper air conditioning. Wi-Fi works all around the college. A big 3-storied library with a good environment for study, a huge sports ground that facilitates almost all sports. The hostel is good, with spacious rooms, and the mess food is also decent.

Faculty: Curriculum is mostly relevant but also tough. Most of the professors are great and helpful with a great knowledge of their subject, but there are some bad professors. Semester exams are on the tougher side. You have to give a decent amount of time to studies to maintain a decent CGPA, but finding resources for study is not a problem.

Other: The crowd is good with helpful seniors. Good college to go to if you want to build a career in engineering, tech, or non-tech.
