Decent, but better options are there for this course.
Placements: Placements for BBA in NSUT are not very good, considering current scenarios, The overall number of opportunities coming our way is not that good, in turn making campus placements an issue. Packages of companies coming to our college start from 4-5 LPA, going up to 8-10 LPA. They offered roles like business analyst, BDO, sales, finance roles, project managers, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure is good, but BBA students do not get the best of it. Classrooms allotted to us are not air-conditioned, even missing necessities for management students like projectors. Compared to the infrastructure provided to B.Teach students is Hi-Teach.
Faculty: The curriculum, professors, and exams are very well. I do not have many complaints about that. It could be a bit more practical to improve the overall understanding. It teaches you a variety of basics used in the industry but can only be fruitful if you add up to it on your own. Semester rules are very strictly followed here. Maintenance of 75% attendance is mandatory before each mid-term and end-term examination otherwise resulting in the student being detained.
Other: Other aspects are amazing in this college, the facilities provided otherwise are good.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

4Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life2Value for Money
One of the biggest disappointments - NSUT.
Placements: I am in electronics and communication engineering and for this course placement states have been pretty average only. Many people do not get placed, we don't get a clear path as to whether to go for core, non-teach, or teaching placements. However, due to a name, companies come, and if you are skilled enough you get placed with the average package of 13-14 LPA. With companies like Google, Microsoft, etc. The highest package goes above 1 CPA and the lowest is 4-5 LPA. Getting internships is tough and the percentage is around 50%.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is good at all the places and we have AC classrooms in the whole college, however library closes around 5:30 which is very bad if you want to put in long sessions. Other than that there are some classes that have to sit in non-AC classrooms also. The labs are well-equipped and good. Student activity center for sports also shuts down very soon. The canteen is very good and a medical facility clinic is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified, however, they do not help much for exam purposes but more for research purposes. In the first year, you get to study the JEE subjects which are irrelevant and from the second year, we study core subjects that make us industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty easy and you need to maintain a GPA of a minimum of 7 to get a good edge in future scope.
Other: Moksha Fest is one of the biggest festivals in Asia, featuring many top artists. However, studying core subjects in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) from the first year, as is done in it, would be much better. The crowd at Moksha Fest is quite large, creating a high demand for VIP passes. In addition to music, there are various flora and fauna on display, along with numerous extracurricular activities.

Not satisfied with placements, administration, and infrastructure. But teachers are good.
Placements: Placements in the recession are very hard, also it has been a problematic issue to clear the CG criteria, as teachers grading system is also hard. Plus discrimination is there between the main campus and East campus when Japanese companies visit the campus for internships, only main campus CSE is allowed. The highest package is 62 LPA. The average salary is 16 LPA. The lowest salary is 3.2 LPA. For all three campuses combined, almost 70-80% of students got placed. SDE job is offered. Recruiting companies that visit our campus are Google, Silicon, Go Daddy, Times Internet, Brain and Company, and Make My Trip. We are the main requires that hiring most.
Infrastructure: Labs and computer facilities are pretty good, with the equipped library on every floor, it's clean too. Wi-Fi range is good in some areas but considering the whole campus, it's not good. Hostel have not been started yet, maybe in 2025 August for girls hostels will be available. For boys will not be available for atleast 4 years. Dispensary is also there on campus. Sports facilities are also average. Canteen is also average.
Faculty: Teachers are good and helpful. Most of them are chill towards attendance criteria. If you have 60-65% attendance, they will increase it to 75%. But some teachers create problems. Curriculum is relevant and it makes us industry-ready. Semester exams are also good, not that difficult but some teacher's grading is strict. Passing percentage is around 80%.
Other: Fests and activities are not held in this college.

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty members, really good infrastructure, facilities, etc.
Placements: In previous year, 78% of students got jobs in core fields. The highest package offered is 34 LPA. An average 15 LPA salary is offered by recruiting companies. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, etc.
Infrastructure: At NSUT, we have high-speed Wi-Fi in every class. We have fully air-conditioned classrooms and well-equipped labs. Huge bunch of books is there in library with fully air conditioning and high-speed Wi-Fi. Hostelers can study as much as they want in the library. I have a little complaint about canteen area, the food is hygienic and has good taste but canteen has a small dining area for students.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They can provide any kind of information that is important from exam point of view. They even help some students to complete their 75% attendance. But on the other hand, there are one or 2 teachers who try to scare us (they said they cut their 10 days attendance and will suspend them from upcoming classes if we talk in class).
Other: I can say it is the best choice I made because NSUT is 5 KM away from my house and so it takes me 30 minutes to reach college. On the other hand, my sister is in DU college which is 20 KM away from my house so she needs to leave the house 1.5 hours before to get on time which is very tiring. If you want to choose a college always check the distance.

SEE before you believe in words.
Placements: Placement and internship opportunities are great here. Many companies come every year to the college, like Microsoft, Google, Sprinklr, etc. The highest package was 63 LPA, and the average package for CSE is 16-22 LPA. 70 percent of students are placed by the college, and it provides multiple opportunities according to your skills.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and labs for my course are nice and air-conditioned. Wi-Fi is available too. The library is air-conditioned with enough space for many students, and it has a vast collection of books. You can sit there to use your laptop or books to study calmly.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful in every way. Teaching quality is good here. The course curriculum is relevant and ensures that you learn to implement things practically, making sure that you are fit for the industry. The pass percentage is pretty high, and the difficulty level is a bit above average.

On Comparisons

Q:   Is M.Tech at NSIT better than DTU?

A:

Determining the superiority between M.Tech programs at NSIT and DTU is subjective and depends on individual preferences. A comprehensive analysis suggests that NSIT offers an enriched curriculum with elective subjects from the early semesters, catering to students' academic inclinations. Conversely, DTU seems to outshine NSIT in terms of overall college experience, considering factors like events, hostel amenities, and parking. Furthermore, DTU's M.Tech placements rival those of the top NITs. While Shiksha present detailed course comparisons between NSIT and DTU, they don't conclusively rank one institute over the other. Hence, prospective students should weigh multiple elements, including curriculum structure, placement records, infrastructure, and personal aspirations, before finalizing their choice.
