Peaceful life at NSUT, West campus.
Placements: Around 90 percent of students get placed at the college. The highest package is around 1 crore, the lowest is around 7 lakh, and the average package from the campus is around 14 lakh. Microsoft and Google are the top recruiting companies. 70 percent of students get internships from my course.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility on the west campus. Canteen food is not so good; it is average. All the equipment is available on campus and is needed by the students. The hostel plan is in process; there would be a college hostel around 2026. The medical facility is very good on campus.
Faculty: The semester exams are not too tough; even average students can pass them, and the teachers are highly qualified from reputable universities in foreign countries and the teaching quality is very nice. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready. Teachers and the whole staff are helpful.
Other: Fests are done on the main campus, called MOKSHA.

B.Tech. in Computer Engineering - Batch of 2027
3.6

Good placements and internship opportunities.
Placements: 90 percent of the students in the recent batch of computer science have been placed. The highest package was 64 LPA by Apple Inc.; the lowest for computer science was 6 LPA; and the median of all branches is 17 LPA. Many companies like Microsoft, Google, DE Shaw, Uniqlo, Brain and Co., apple and many more are recruiting. The roles offered are commonly SDE roles and non-tech business analyst roles.
Infrastructure: There is a separate computer centre other than the computer science department with the latest computers with an i7 configuration and high-speed Wi-Fi (1 gbps). All of the computers and furniture in the lab are in very good condition. Also, lab instructors help students solve their doubts.
Faculty: faculty are not so good in this college. They have the knowledge but their way of teaching is average. The course, on the other hand, is good and includes programming In first year itself, many more core subjects are also present. The semester exams are of moderately difficult and you can get a good CGPA by studying few days before exams. 95 percent of the students pass the exam easily, while the remaining students have to give exams again in the next semester.
Other: I chose this course due to the brand value of the college and the industry-relevant curriculum of the course. Also, placements were a big reason for choosing this course. There are 2 fests every year, one in March and one in October and both fests are amazing and most happening days of college life. But, due to increase in the number of seats, the quality of crowd is decreasing. The campus has very good connectivity and students have both metro and bus options. There are many cafes and restaurants near college so the campus surrounding is good. For extracurriculars, There are around 50 societies in the college, ranging from teaching to dancing to mechanics, etc.

Please select this college for placement purposes only.
Placements: This college is a well-known and prestigious college among the modern colleges, and because of that, many good companies hire students from this college. That's why the placement rates are quite high, and the coding culture is also good.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite bad, and the infrastructure is old too. Previously, this college was an IPU-affiliated college, then the building was renamed the NSU East Campus, so the main campus is quite good as compared to this college, and the washrooms are very poor.
Faculty: The college is quite good and very strict according to the rules and exam syllabus. That's why there is a systematic way of holding exams and curriculum. Also, in this college, the faculty is above average, and the courses are quite good and up-to-date.
Other: Overall, this college is good for placement purposes only; otherwise, the college life is just okay.

Very satisfied with the infrastructure. There are many societies for overall development.
Placements: Internships about done by only 10 to 15 students per batch from their respective branches to get placed in the companies. Due to a good coding environment on campus, students from other branches also sit for Tech placements. About 80-90% students who sit for the placements drive, get placed.
Infrastructure: Whole campus of NSUT is covered with a high-speed Wi-Fi. 1st years take their classes in APJ complex which is fully air conditioned while the senior year students have their classes in their respective blocks. Hostel also provides ACs and electricity along with a water supply.
Faculty: All the teachers are good and knowledgeable in their respective courses, some of them being IIT graduates. The midterms and end terms are not that difficult. A back paper can be cleared by repeating the course. An amount of 7000 for odd and 13000 for an even semester is quite high.
Other: Due to the huge number quotas made available by the college, it does not have a good crowd. It’s better to choose NIT over NSIT.

B.Tech. in Manufacturing Process and Automation Engineering - Batch of 2021

College days are the best to explore.
Placements: My course is Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering, and my batch is 2021. In our curriculum, core subjects related to mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, automation, electronics, and some subjects of CS are included. The average package is 15 to 18 LPA, and the highest package is 1.02 crore. Top roles for companies are teach, non-teach, and core. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, JPMorgan, and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is very good; the hostel, fountain, garden, ground, admin and nesci ground, and moksha ground are all well maintained and clean. Canteen and mess food are yummy. Labs, Wi-Fi, the classroom, and the central library are very good, and APK and Smart Block have huge screens.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful in assignments and studies, explain the topic very well, and give examples to enhance their learning and the curriculum of my branch related to electrical, mechanical, electronics, and automation, give practical knowledge, and have well-maintained labs.
Other: Our course enhances knowledge of industries and manufacturing, but unfortunately, we will not appear again in the admissions process. This branch is good, and the placement is also good. Events, festivals, and extracurricular activities like clubs or society help students enhance their learning and participate more in competition.

On Fees and Eligibility

Q:   Can I get B.Tech at NSIT with 75 percentile in JEE?

A:

Getting into NSIT's B.Tech programme with a just 75 percentile JEE Main score is extremely challenging.
Popular fields like electronics and computer Science typically have closing ranks for the General category that are less than 2000.
This usually means to a score above 200 or a 99+ percentile on the JEE Main.Even for the reserved categories (OBC, SC, and ST), the cutoffs fall below 10,000 and are in the range of 95+ percentile.
The NSIT computer Science JEE Main closing percentile in 2022 was:
SC - 98.23, ST - 96.32, General - 99.91, OBC - 99.21

Therefore, there is very little to no chance of getting into NSIT with a rank of less than 30,000 or a 75 percentile.
This percentile score means that the engineering colleges you could potentially attend are much less popular.
