    Hi, all diploma holders are eligible to seek admission directly into the second year of 4 year degree course in engineering under lateral mode of admission.     No age restrictions for education. You can do B.Tech now. I would prefer you to do part time B.Tech.

    As distance courses in engineering are not recognized so I would advise you to leave the idea of doing it. AICTE doesn't give approval for distance courses in engineering. Go for regular one. Regards.
