For doing the course through distance/online mode, IGNOU conducts entrance exam for B. Ed. while some universities offer direct admission, some demands teaching experience. In new education policy, the B. Ed. will be of 1 year duration after master's degree and that of 2 years after Bachelor's degree. Currently it is of 2 years duration after Bachelor's /Master's. You can teach only in middle school (6-8) on the basis of B. Tech and B. Ed. If you still are interested in technical studies, I will suggest you to do M. Tech /M. E. and try to teach in an engineering college. If you are interested in Science, then you can do M. Sc.
