It is a good university in Uttarakhand for self learning.
Placements: It is a good college, but placements are not offered. As it is an open university, there are low opportunities for placements. By university, some placement drives are organized but those are not enough. University doesn't inform about placements clearly to students.
Infrastructure: It is a good course provides by the university but the study materials are not good. There are no video classes provides by the university, and classrooms are good enough. The library is also good but only for the interns not for students because it is an open distance learning university.
Faculty: Teachers are good enough, but they are always busy as it is an open distance learning university. But it's good as per environment but doesn't help in studies provided by the university. Teaching is self-placed in this university, and the course is a little old as per the new tech world.

It is a good university in overall Uttarakhand for distance education.
Placements: Placements are not offered by the university, and the university is not active in placements. They drive some courses for placements, but they don't provide any information to students. However, it is a distance mode university, so things are acceptable. Overall, it is a good university, but not for placements.
Infrastructure: Practical rooms are good. It is an online-based open university, so there is no chance to visit classrooms. However, the main campus is neat and clean, with all facilities that made a hi-tech university environment. Wi-Fi is available for teachers but not for students.
Faculty: Teachers have good behaviour and help students when they visit or call them. Staff members behaviour is also good. The course curriculum is good, but it is a bit outdated for today or as compared to today's industry-oriented learning. Overall, it is a good university, but it needs few changes in study materials. Faculty members are good.
