Uttarakhand Open University offers admission to a two-year MSc course. This course is taught through the School of Science and School of Computer Science & Information Technology. As studying in the open university, candidates can complete the course within a span of maximum six years at UOU. Candidates can choose to study among nine MSc specialisations, namely Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, etc. The most popular and expensive MSc courses at the university are MSc in Information Technology and MSc in Cyber Security. Yes, anyone can pursue B.Ed course at Uttarakhand University in distance learning. Candidates who are willing to get admission to this course must fulfil the minimum educational requirements of the course. The minimum eligibility is to pass a UG or PG degree with minimum 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ST/OBC/PWD categories) or UG degree in Engineering with minimum 55% aggregate from a recognised university.

Yes, Uttarakhand Open University B.Ed admissions are entirely entrance-based. The university conducts an entrance-exam for the selection of eligible candidates for B.Ed courses. In order to get admission to B.Ed at UOU, candidates must qualify for UOU B.Ed entrance exam. The entrance exam contains objective-type questions around teaching aptitude and general knowledge. It's mandatory for every aspirant to qualify for this exam in order to get admission. Yes,  Uttarakhand Open University offers a two-year course of B.Ed ODL (Open & Disctance Learning). This course can only be pursue after getting any UG or PG degree. Further, aspirants must also be trained in-service teacher in elementary education. The university also offerd B.Ed in Special Education.
