Uttarakhand Open University, also known as UOU Haldwani is a state-open university in Haldwani, Uttarakhand. Established in 2005, it is considered one of the prominent names for distance/ part-time education among other open universities in Uttarakhand. UOU Admission Process and Important Dates 2025

Candidates applying for UG and PG courses can apply both online and offline. Uttarakhand Open University admissions are done on first-cum-first-serve basis twice a year, in January and July.

After a successful registration of candidature, selection based on merit or entrance is done. Candidates appearing for entrance-based admission are then shortlisted for counselling. The final merit list is released post-counselling, and shortlisted candidates are summoned for document verification.
