One of the best colleges for engineering students.
Placements: University offers excellent placement opportunities, don’t miss them. The faculty has an independent career development department that guides us through various internships and placements. Nearly 80% of the students secured placements, and the remainder opted for higher education. Leading recruiting firms such as IBM, Amazon, HSBC, Envestnet Yodlee, Texas Instruments, Johnson Controls, Capgemini, and many more visited our campus to seek placements. The maximum salary offered was 11 LPA, and the minimum was 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: From my perspective, the university infrastructure is quite good. There is free Wi-Fi and highly specialized laboratories with all the necessary instruments in excellent condition. The classrooms are clean and tidy, equipped with modern equipment. There is a central library with all the necessary academic and non-academic books. There are many canteens, and the food is quite good and affordable for students. The hostel facilities are quite good, well-organized, and clean. There is also a spacious playground and an indoor games room for students.
Faculty: All of our university professors are highly qualified and have specialized knowledge in their respective fields. They are extremely helpful in both teaching and research. The curriculum for this course is excellent, offering all the necessary subjects to prepare students for the industry, which also helps them secure good placement opportunities. The semester exams are a bit tough for new students, but reviewing past exams will be beneficial.

Good college with nice campus and social life.
Placements: 26 LPA is the highest package and 5.6 LPA is the lowest, and 6 LPA is the average. Associate engineer is the position offered. Caterpillar recruits more freshers here 70% of students are placed/in internships. The exact numbers are not known off-campus students are like 10.
Infrastructure: The campus life is lot enjoyable. There are lot of space to spend time inside campus, like clubs. Architecture classes are quite good. You can have Wi-Fi access on laptops for free. A wide range of sports are available. Two canteens are available. Hostel and mess food is decent.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Every 4 years once they change the syllabus and curriculum. It makes study more informative, but not more practical. Semester exam are sometimes easy and hard based on the selector. 45% is the passing percentage.
Other: Through Tamil Nadu Engineering admission counseling, I got this course. The course is quite tough. There was a choice filling where you could select professors of your choice. But it has been removed now Kurukshetra, the biggest tech fest and lots happening around college every now and then.

Good college filled with toppers across Tamil Nadu.
Placements: Around 60% of then students got placed. The highest package offered was 10 Lacs per annum. Core companies like Caterpillar visit to hire but mostly IT service companies hire the students. Roles like Industrial Engineer, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, and Data analyst were offered.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure for the departmental building. Hostel qualities were very average. Common rest rooms are there which are cleaned daily. Mess food was very good and they provide a lot of varieties for the students. Free medical centre for students is also there.
Faculty: Some teachers are good while the others are average. You're lucky if you get good teachers for the mechanical subjects. Course curriculum is relevant for jobs, still they should update it to the latest trends. Semester exams difficulty level is average and the passing percentage is above 70%.

M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2022

Overall, the best university for M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering.
Placements: About 91% of students get placed. The highest package is 28 LPA, and the average package is 17 LPA. The minimum package is 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our study are Microsoft, Infosys, Tesla, etc. 85% of students got internships in multiple companies. The top roles offered are software developer, data scientist, and more.
Infrastructure: Our department is well developed with modern facilities that support both academic and applied learning. The rooms are well-appointed with plenty of seating and usually include basic amenities like chairs, tables, air conditioning, and lighting. Emphasis is placed on maintaining high standards of hygiene in the preparation and serving of food. There are many indoor and outdoor games, such as cricket, volleyball, soccer, and more.
Faculty: Faculty members at the college are very friendly and encourage students to participate in workshops and internships. Faculty members provide clear explanations of the topics and clarify doubts asked by students. The college conducts internal examinations and mock examinations. The tests are moderately difficult with a pass rate of 59%.

I highly recommend, it is good.
Placements: In the industrial department, most of students get placed, and some go for higher studies in top institutes, including IIM. Here, they encourage students to contribute to the entrepreneurship sector too. It all depends on our efforts; opportunities exist.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available for laptops, and the library is really good with sufficient books and infrastructure. Hostel infrastructure is good, but the taste of mess food is a con, especially lunch. It is really a good college for sports, PPL in ball badminton, hockey, and throw ball. Health facilities are available.
Faculty: The teaching style is based on real-life applications rather than marks, with interactive classes. The new curriculum makes it even better. Getting marks is easier, but knowledge depends on you. The question paper depends on the professor, and presentation matters. Class notes are key to marks.
Other: There are a lot of extracurricular activities where you can showcase your talent in science, dance, or whatever. You can learn a lot. Clubs guide for higher studies, UPSC, singing, dance, astronomy, robotics, etc. It is a wide exposure college.

Good exposure and campus.
Placements: Around 70% are placed and many go for higher studies. The lowest package is 3 Lacs and the highest is 21 Lacs. A student recently got into Apple as well. Most students get placed as Software Development. Students also get mass recruited at the end of the placement season. Companies like Fidelity, Visa, Citi Bank recruit students here often.
Infrastructure: The department has working labs and classrooms. There is a common library for all students within and outside the nearby campus. You cannot connect to data on your mobile within the department, but they will provide students with Wi-Fi that can be registered with your laptop. The quality of food is subpar in the international hostel. It is very repetitive. Housekeeping is prompt. The medical center closes by 5 pm, so in case of emergency, you have to visit Malar hospital nearby. Sports culture is very strong here.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified but lack the ability to teach. The course is slowly being revised and is somewhat relevant, making the students industry-ready through mandatory internship/summer projects. Semester exams are application-oriented. Pass percentage is 45% if you pass in internals.
Other: I chose the course because I assumed it has good placement. There are many scholarships that are offered for different sections of society. The campus crowd is mostly Tamilians, with few foreign nationals, NRIs, and other state students. I wish the professors were more approachable.
