Review of the College of Engineering, Anna University for B.E. in Industrial Engineering course.

Faculty: Faculty members are very nice and kind. Staff members are supportive. If we study well, we can be placed. The exam pattern is good. It is essential for us to study so that we can succeed in this world. Overall, it is a good college. Our HOD has a very nice personality. Teaching depends on the faculty members.

Absolutely satisfied because of good placements and faculty members.

Faculty: The teachers at Anna University Chennai are well-experienced and qualified. They are always being friendly with students. They teach us lessons crystal clear and always clear the student's doubt regarding lessons without any concern. They conduct an examination every month.

Decent infrastructure, friendly faculty, but lacks placement support and practical exposure.

Faculty: The teaching staff in our Electronic Media department is friendly, qualified, and knowledgeable. They're easy to communicate with, and we've had a great experience with them. The teaching quality is good, but one downside is that it's more theoretical than practical. However, we've had opportunities to work on projects like short films, documentaries, and department events, which have helped us apply our skills. The course curriculum is relevant, but could be more industry-focused. Semester exam...

I like hostel life more as college is strict.

Faculty: Faculty student ratio was around 1:15. Faculty members were so supportive of the students, and they would always respond to students immediately. All faculty members were good like Charitra ma'am, Jasmine ma'am, Ranjitha ma'am, Santhosh sir, etc. All the faculty members were the best. There was no faculty whom we didn't like. There will be semester exam after 3 months in the semester. In a semester, there will be 2 internals, 2 small tests which will be considered as assignment, and 1 project fo...

The pride in sharing the greatness of Asia's oldest college.

Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful and have a great experience in research as well as in the curriculum. The curriculum is very relevant to the needs of the industry. Semester exams are very easy to crack which makes me give four stars rather than five.

CEG has good infrastructure, labs, and library. Teaching and management need improvement.

Faculty: The curriculum followed at CEG is strong in fundamentals and core engineering concepts. It provides a solid theoretical base, especially in mechanical engineering subjects such as thermodynamics, manufacturing, design and materials. Semester examinations are moderate to slightly challenging, focusing mainly on conceptual understanding and problem solving. Students who attend classes regularly and prepare consistently can clear exams without much difficulty. The pass percentage is generally high,...

My college is a 10 for those who prefer exposure rather than infrastructure.

Faculty: All teachers are helpful, joyful, and qualified. Teaching is still like the old school. No advanced methods. It is relevant to what the industry needs, but still holds. 75% is the pass percentage, approximately. The semester exams are difficult but manageable.

Good college with nice campus and social life.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. Every 4 years once they change the syllabus and curriculum. It makes study more informative, but not more practical. Semester exam are sometimes easy and hard based on the selector. 45% is the passing percentage.

I highly recommend, it is good.

Faculty: The teaching style is based on real-life applications rather than marks, with interactive classes. The new curriculum makes it even better. Getting marks is easier, but knowledge depends on you. The question paper depends on the professor, and presentation matters. Class notes are key to marks.

My experience of M.Sc. electronic media at Anna University.

Faculty: According to students the teaching is very good. Almost 90% of teachers are Ph.D. scholars. All teachers are very friendly and fully experienced. The mentors are very supportive and available all the time to help. Exams are not too much easy and not too much difficult, so students are passed quite easily.

Anna University is well satisfied with placements and exploration.

Faculty: The exams will be very tough to clear. The pass percentage is 50 percent. The course curriculum is quite relevant to the industry. Most faculty members hold advanced degrees (Masters and Ph.D. from reputed institutions and from abroad). No complaint regarding teaching.

Anna University, Chennai in the year 2025 admission in M.Tech course information.

Faculty: This curriculum is relevant and very good. Our teachers are very good. They provide knowledge of the subject. This course is for 1 year. We have 2-semester exams. Exams are very difficult to clear and score marks.

Good exposure and campus.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified but lack the ability to teach. The course is slowly being revised and is somewhat relevant, making the students industry-ready through mandatory internship/summer projects. Semester exams are application-oriented. Pass percentage is 45% if you pass in internals.
