IIM Calcutta gives each of the student a stipend starting at INR 30,000 per month, which goes up to INR 35,000. Each of the student can avail of the student development grants of up to INR 65,000 for the first-year of course, and up to INR 25,000 for subsequent years. Moreover, the stipend and grants are facilitated for four years. However, it can be extended up to one or more years based on demonstration of enough progress in dissertation work. Absolutely satisfied with college.

Placements: Almost all students were placed in our course. Placement was extremely good. Highest salary package offered in our course was in crores. Average salary package was around 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies were JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, D.E. Shaw, etc. Almost all students successfully secured internship offers.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available for our course were extremely good. It provided world-class facilities. Library was available with a quality of reference books. The facilities in the hostel were also really good, like 5 5-star hotel. A large sports court was also present.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality of our faculty members was really great. Many of them were alumni of foreign universities like Stanford and Harvard. Course curriculum was relevant. Semester examination was quite tough.

Stable results in placement and academic performance.

Placements: I got placed in the company Goldman Sachs. Nearly 40+ student competitors fought with me to grab this opportunity, while 15+ students cleared the first round and 5+ students cleared the second round. In the final interview, I was one of the persons selected for the reputed company with a package of 6.46 LPA.

Infrastructure: The layout of the college was so amazing, and they are offering several courses at very low fees. Cameras are fixed at every main location of the campus, so unnecessary student behavior and movements in the campus area are not highly encouraged at any time.

Faculty: For pricing academic standards, the top 3 performers in academics are rewarded with scholarships that cover their tuition fees. This really helps students from economically weaker backgrounds and motivates us to study better than before.

Placements: About 99% of students got placed from my course. The lowest package is approximately 9 LPA-10 LPA. The average package is 30 LPA and the highest package is 80 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Wipro, and Infosys. Most students got internships in several companies.

Infrastructure: The college facilities like Wi-Fi in classrooms, huge central library, and all sports facilities for both indoor and outdoor are available on the campus and it is satisfactory. Hostel and mess are of average quality and acceptable. Overall, the infrastructure is very good, and it is value for money. Satisfied by the looks of this campus.

Faculty: Here in IIM Calcutta faculty members are the best since most of them are in college for many years and highly experienced in their fields. Their knowledge is high regarding the current situations of the market and industries. Some of them have good contacts with industries. The course curriculum is well accurately designed by board members which is good. Hence, we have no difficulty regarding the curriculum, so overall good.

Placements: IIM Calcutta has a highly developed placements cell. Students in the college were getting multiple placements opportunities in the MBA course. average package offered at the college was between 6 and 12 LPA. The top recruiters at this college were IBM, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, on Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, etc.

Infrastructure: IIM Calcutta has a very good infrastructure available for the MBA course. The college campus had all the facilities for the interactive and better learning of the students. Wi-Fi, labs, library, canteen, sports, hostel, medical, etc. facilities were available for the students at this college.

Faculty: IIM Calcutta has both permanent and guest faculty. The faculty of this college was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable about our course. The course curriculum of the college was relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams at the college were not hard to pass.

Placements were excellent in 2019 batch.

Placements: Placements are fine. 90% of students were placed. Median annual salary offered was somewhere around 16-17 LPA. For this programme, placement is a bit challenging but we saw great placement score in 2018-19 batch. IT and consulting were some of the areas where roles were offered. It's mandatory to do an internship with this programme. Internship interviews will also be conducted by the institute. Internship stipend ranges from 25K to 50K.

Infrastructure: The college has a great library and facilities. Students also enjoy paid subscription of some magazines. Sports facilities here are average. It is an old b-school and space allotted for games and sports is less. College has its own sports club and many talented students also. There are various clubs in this college. Hostels are decent, although the infrastructure is pretty old, but you still get AC facility. Other facilities in the hostel are also fine.

Faculty: Senior faculty members are very nice. Although some are very strict, but that is not much of an issue most of the time. You will learn a lot from all of them. They put a lot of effort in teaching. They are well experienced and give a lot of assignments to study upon. Course is very hectic. 2 years of studies is squeezed into some 4 months of studies.

Triple learning, Triple fun, Triple success.

Placements: Placement rate is 100% and 50% got PPO. The highest package was 40 LPA and average was 25 LPA. Top recruiters for internship and final placements are MasterCard, DE Shaw, EXL, PwC, ITC, Amazon. Etc. Top roles- Business consultant, Sr. manager-Analytics, Data scientist, Solution architect, etc.

Infrastructure: ISI cal- Wi-Fi enabled campus, great library, and labs, classrooms have all modern amenities, food is a bit costly but very good. One and only Museum, great ambiance on campus, very supportive staff, very less students so peaceful.

Faculty: The faculty here are gods, to be honest. Each and every one of them has the ability to solve any doubt from anything analytics. Very humble and knowledgeable (especially ISI). You'll get a whole semester (6 months) for graded-Internship (also paid). I think that's more than enough to make you industry ready, it makes you Start-UP-ready. Also, each and every one of your peers would be highly accomplished him/herself, so a lot to learn from peer-to-peer. The course gets updated regularly in line with the latest technology, theory, etc. In the Analytics domain (both Industry and Academics).

Other: This is one of the first courses in business analytics to be offered in our nation and quickly climbed up the rankings. With all three pioneers, I don't think there is any course better than this even presently. Our semesters were shortened and that made the course very intensive and rigorous. But again it was due to Covid and I don't see it getting repeated in the future. Lots of events and fests are organized here (right now on hold due to Covid). The campus crowd is as expected from Premium institutes, everyone is well accomplished. Scholarships are given to EWS folks.
