UGC NET exam date 2022 has been announced by the NTA for the merged December 2021 and June 2022 cycles. The UGC NET date sheet 2022 for Phase 1 exam has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). . The Phase 1 exam will be held on July 9, 11 and 12, 2022 and Phase 2 exam will be on August 12, 13 and 14, 2022. The UGC NET admit card 2022 will be released soon. The UGC NET notification 2022 was released on April 30, 2022. 

The UGC NET dates are announced in the official notification, that is, the 'Information Bulletin' containing the dates of important events related to the exam such as the release of the application form, issue of admit card, conduct of exam and declaration of result. Read further to know more about the UGC NET dates and exam events.

UGC NET date sheet 2022 has been released by the NTA for the Phase 1 exam that will be held on July 9, 11 and 12, 2022 to determine the eligibility of candidates for Assistant Professor or both Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor. I) Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. Are eligible for this Test. The Other Backward Classes (OBC) belonging to non-creamy layer / Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Persons with disability (PWD) category candidates who have secured at least 50% marks (without rounding off) in Masters degree or equivalent examination are eligible for this Test.
ii) Candidates who have appeared or will be appearing at the qualifying Masters degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test. However, such candidates will be admitted provisionally and shall be considered eligible for award of JRF/Assistant Professor eligibility only after they have passed their Masters degree examination or equivalent with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC (Non-creamy layer)/ SC/ ST/ PWD (Persons with disability) category candidates). Such candidates must complete their P. G. degree examination within two years from the date of NET result with required percentage of marks, failing which they shall be treated as disqualified.
