UGC NET Date 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the UGC NET Result 2026 for 84 subjects at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Along wit hthe result, final answer key also published. The re-exam of English, Commerce and Sociology will be held on September 9 and 10. The UGC NET 2026 Provisional Answer Key for the June session was released on August 16 for 84 Subjects at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The answer key was released along with the response sheet and question paper. The answer key objection window also opened from August 16 to 18. The UGC NET exam was conducted from June 22 to June 30, 2026 in two shifts.

The NTA will conduct the re-exam of three subjects namely English, Commerce and Sociology on September 9 and 10. The schedule is mentioned below:
English: September 9, 2026 Shift 1 - 9 AM to 12 Noon
Commerce : September 9, 2026 Shift 2 - 3 PM to 6 PM
Sociology : September 10, 2026 Shift 1 - 9 AM to 12 Noon

The NTA released the UGC NET hall ticket 2026 on June 17. Candidates can download the UGC NET admit card by following manner.

UGC NET Shift Timings Details 2026
The UGC NET June exam 2026 was conducted in two shifts. UGC NET Shift 1 was started from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm whereas the shift 2 exam was begun from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. However, the candidates must report to the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the gate closing time.

The UGC NET Dec session exam will be conducted online in Computer-Based Test Mode. It will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 from 9 am to 12 pm and shift 2 from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The NTA opened the UGC NET 2026 Application correction window on May 26. The last date to make correction was May 28, 2026. The Registration process was closed on May 24.
The UGC NET 2026 Cut off for the June session has been released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. It is the minimum qualifying marks required by the student to clear the exam. The Cutoff PDF released along with the result.
The UGC NET exam for the June session was conducted from June 22 to June 30, 2026. The dates were released by the NTA at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The admit card was also released at ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
After clearing the UGC NET exam, candidates have lot of opportunities to give their best in the research perspective. They can become assistant professor, pursue lectureship or get JRF. It is also advised to the candidates to fill out the correct details with utmost care in the application form. Any request for change in the particulars after the closure of the correction period will not be considered by NTA under any circumstances.
The UGC NET 2026 expected cutoff may fall within the range of 216 to 160 for all subjects and categories. The NTA will release the UGC NET 2026 June session cutoff marks after the declaration of the result. Candidates who will meet or exceed the cutoff marks will qualify for further recruitment process.
